The world has really come a long way from how it operated in the early modern era (15th-18th). During this period the world was controlled largely by fear and anything that falls under the unknown category was regarded as DANGEROUS. Superstition played a very vital role in how people lived their lives and also served as the foundations for their rules and laws. The unknown not only scared men then, it also made them lash out usually at the cost of someone's life sometimes extending to the lives of their family, friends and loved ones as well. If it is new and does not fit in with certain criteria, it was regarded as sorcery/witchcraft burning the so called "agents of darkness" to the stake. Women were the major victims to this cruelty and many people encountered losses because of man's ignorance. Truly this was a dark time caused by limited understanding and lack of thinking critically. Nevertheless as time progressed, societies evolved and man moved past the perception of superstition, what was once viewed as the product of the Devil has now become the very thing that holds society together. Our misunderstanding blurred our eyes from the limitless possibilities that it had to offer then but not anymore the world is now heavily reliant on it for elevation on all aspects of life. SCIENCE is the key to it all.
Man is science science is man. It is made up of all the knowledge that shapes the world including our very existence. Science is not built on sentimentality rather it provides information with empirical evidence to back up its claims. Science does not make mistakes rather it learns from the errors of others thanks to evolution. Science and technology is the very tool that has made life easier for man and society, it brought about the production of cars, cellphones, gadgets, electronic devices and this is surely not the end as more innovations will pop up to continue revolutionizing planet earth. Change they say is constant and science is that constant that will continue to change the world thanks to those people who were enough to question the existing system centuries ago and even in this contemporary era.

Growing up I was also sceptical about science, why?? I was raised in a very religions home and were told that scientists were devils that would deprive from winning the heavenly race. But as I matured I began to question the world around me as the people I thought owned the answers to it all were oblivious of it as well.

But as I continued to make research, mingled with the crowd I once avoided like a plague things began to make sense to me it was like a fog was lifted and my sight clearer. I realized science was not just a subject taught in school, the more I learned, the more I realized I knew nothing and as my curiosity grew so did my level of understanding.
I may not be a scientist due to some major technicalities but journey as an appreciator and lover of this field has brought me to places I never deemed possible. It's relevance can never be overemphasized as it is literally the shoulder the world stands on for survival and will forever be man's greatest discovery.
