Hello everyone, hope everybody's good. My name is @coderaikiri and this is my first time on the music community and I hope I am able to follow through with the rules and regulations of the community. My entry for the community will have to be a song cover by the renowned reggae legend Lucky Dube titled Prisoner.
There's just something about songs from the 90s that just hits differently especially when they revolve around the concept of life. Prisoner is a heart touching song that tells the tale of a young man who was imprisoned because of his bad decisions resulting to him living the rest of his life as a prisoner making the end of his freedom . This type of fate is not far from the working class who is subjugated to remain a prisoner even when he is innocent.
The song is truly a masterpiece from an era of lyrics genius. I hope you all enjoy as much as I do
