A Perfect World Might Be An Apocalypse

The conception of the possible existence of a perfect society has got to be one of the worst lies disguised as comfort created by the human mind. The idea of a flawless world free from illness, evil, corrupt leader, hunger and dominated by a unified sense of tranquility is a place where the mind runs to when it seeks some sort of solace from the harsh terrains of reality. Initially, this type of setting seems like the right end point when the human race is moving correct . However when the achievement of this societal utopia continues to stale and the darker side of mankind passively rears it's ugly head, we automatically see this so called perfection for what it is - A disaster waiting to happen one so strong that it could even signal the end of humanity as we know it.

Everything about life requires some form of resistance for it to flourish. Right from the time we are conceived, life starts throwing preparing us for the bigger picture with diverse difficulties to navigate it's path. As babies, we have to first struggle to crawl, stand and eventually walk after failing on several occasions but this is only a build up for the success that lies ahead. Although the struggle tends to evolve as we grow older, we still confront levels of discomfort in this journey whether we choose to or otherwise.

In a world where you do not have to struggle to achieve greatness or even put in effort to get results, what is even the essence of life. How does one even know they are brave if they are never confronted with fear? What is point learning if making mistakes becomes obsolete. They say conflict is inevitable but in a world where it is completely erased, does it spell sustainable growth or a stagnation that eventually wipes the very flavour that makes this world enjoyable space it is. A world lacking in challenges is not the happily ever after we envisioned, it is a bubble waiting to pop even without pressure.

From all the numerous movies I've watched, if there's one thing I have learned is that as much as good is the one thing rational people yearn for, it is possible to truly achieve it if the opposite doesn't exist (there must be a Yin for every Yang to ensure balance). Comparison is one the key tools for measurement but how do you know if there's any difference when there is nothing to compare to . In this supposed fairytale land, humanity stops striving for growth/development and this is not because we have moved past it rather there is absolutely tp grow against. Technological advancements come to a complete halt as everybody is pretty much comfortable where they are. Kindness becomes a story rather than an experience until eventually life ultimately loses its meaning.

Children raised under these conditions are not prepared for a lot of things which can even be sited in today's society where the so called Nepo Babies who enjoy all the benefits of wealth end up misusing it due to the absence of proper training for the rocky road ahead. Sometimes I sit back to play a what if scenario in my head wondering how my life would look like if I did not walk on the difficult path that has led me to this point. The journey was not all I would've wanted it to be but thanks to the obstacles I faced, I have been able to learn, grow, adapt, build a tougher skin and eve built up experience to easily navigate what comes next.

After all I have seen in life, I have come to the conclusion that the world was not meant to be perfect and no matter how much we try to achieve this level, it remains unobtainable as long as the human mind does not all think the same and no matter how everyone one hates suffering, we can not deny the role it plays in shaping character. Personally I completely loath this form of perfection as I would not be able to enjoy the things I have grown to love and life itself would appear colorless in my eyes.
