Warmer Days Monochrome Monday
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I've got a few pictures to share for Monochrome Monday, where I am wishing for warmer days for once!

Warmer Days Monochrome Monday
When you're sick with a cold or the flu, one of the things that you don't really want necessarily is for the whole world to be freezing cold. I know that it's impossible to make those futile requirements, but one can only dream, right?
The family is on nearly a week of being sick now, with hopefully a end around the corner. The challenge with this one is that it's one where it came on strong and then waned but it didn't go away, it lingered and that's what's frustrating for sure lol. You just want to be rid of the shit! Today when writing this post, what I was longing for is a day where it's sunshine and 75 or 80 degrees and I can sit there and let the sun bake me and help me feel better. It goes to show you how powerful of a compound Vitamin D is for our bodies!
For this weeks Monochrome Monday, I decided to take a step back into times where it was indeed much warmer and more pleasant for my mind to go to when I am feeling in the way that I am now. I will admit that I do feel better than I did a few days ago but it's one of those lingering pains in the asses that you are having to fight off. Hoping with another night of good sleep, we can get back on the mend and start the day tomorrow on a much better foot than today was!
The black and white version of the pictures here is enjoyable to look back on, the special aspect of it is because they are all with my son. My wife wasn't with us on this fishing trip here since she doesn't enjoy fishing as much as we do, but all of the pictures I have here were in the company of my son.
I am one to get sentimental because the world is a challenging place in so many aspects. I am only a small plankton in the gigantic ocean but that plankton has another plankton in tow and the most important thing I can do as a parent is try to keep him on the right path with me as much as possible. It's not always guaranteed or going to happen in the manner in which I think is best but at the same time - it's how it is going to go, as best as it will go.
I've thought back recently to some circumstances where I've not been as understanding or patient as I can and should be and that's what gives me a bit of melancholy, thinking that I didn't give him my best and that's not the right thing. Hindsight is indeed 20/20 but the thing that we can do is strive to improve each day and get on what we would consider the right path, whatever that may be.
I think the mixture of the warm thoughts of the summertime and spending time with my son, combined with the black and white of the photos, took a little bit of a different turn for me in this one but I enjoyed taking a little bit of a trip down that path. I don't know why it sometimes takes writing something like this for me to recognize events in the past in my memory to try and do better in as many instances as possible, but I think it's giving me hope that I can do better next time and every time after that.

Well you might not believe it but it got to 80° here today. Warmest day ever in February. The topper, there's a possibility of snow in the morning. If it snows I will be shocked though.
Well hope everyone feels better dude. No fun having a household of crud.
Hahaha that's nuts, we had something like that a few years ago. It got up to something crazy warm like 80 here in the middle of winter and the following day it got down to 20 degrees. It was one of the largest jumps in recent history.
We are feeling better now thankfully! Getting there for sure but it was a long road lol
Hopefully it was a sunny 80, not a rainy 80. Those days are always tough, it's really warm but the weather largely is junk because of the clashing cold and warm fronts.
It felt like a nice summer day. People jogging with shorts and all. Weirdest winter I have ever experienced. We been in the 50s and 60s mostly the past 7 days or so..
Haha yeah for sure. The crazy thing about it though is these warm days also existed in the 1930's for most of the country as well. Almost a 100 year cycle, eh? If you look up the records on a lot of things, the 30's was pretty wild!
Flu and cold are enemies but the sad thing is that I usually suffer from flu anytime it is cold
Nice pictures though
Yeah we thankfully don’t get it too often!
For every plankton has another plankton under and it continues that way
Indeed it continues!
This kind of weather is very beautiful when there are dark clouds and it is going to rain, especially in summer it is very nice to see this kind of weather.
Yeah I enjoy seeing nice full and puffy clouds too!
That's good.
The photos from the seashore are successful!
Thanks yeah they were great ones I think!
These are really cool pictures you took here I must confess
Thanks for checking them out! I appreciate it!
