Time to Shine
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to chat about what we can do with the price of Hive where it's at!

Time to Shine?
What is the right time to exchange?!
These days with the price fluctuations of Hive, one thing is for sure is that I'm always wondering if I should sell my HBD and buy more Hive, or if I should wait a few days or a week and see where the price is at then?
I think this is a decent problem to have for someone like me who is interested in stacking as much Hive as I can, regardless of what the price action is doing. I guess there is a little caveat.. in that I don't mind if the price dips lower but I sure as hell ain't selling to an exchange!
I want to see some green in the price action just like anyone, but at the same time when there is some blood in the streets, that's when we can build a bigger stack, faster! I don't know what the hell I would be doing with the funds that I've accumulated on here over the years.. but it's fun to just see things increase?
It makes me wonder sometimes. What if the price of Hive just collapses and I don't do anything with the stuff I've got. Will that make me upset, or will that just be a "meh" situation? I kind of think the latter, in that I never really intended on using the funds that I've got here for anything that I can think of. Sure it would be cool to sell and get a house or something, but the price would have to increase dramatically for that to be possible, and I don't think there are fantastic chances of that happening at least in the short term.
I know that it's weird to be ambivalent to it, and maybe I'm naive but there are a lot of other factors involved than just trying to sell a few hundred dollars worth of something to ruin the future chances of something much greater. I think this is the essence of what a lot of people don't understand about crypto and places like Hive. There is a really important life lesson to be had by delayed gratification!
The world we live in is full of instant or near-instant gratification and it presents quite a few challenges. I think one of them for sure is that people have no idea how to save or manage money because they're not used to having a little bit of a stash. Not that what I've got is a "stash" per-se but it's a pretty decent amount at this point, and thankfully growing pretty nicely every day and week.
I've been keeping an eye on that Hive price, mainly because I'm looking for the right time to sell this HBD that's burning a hole in my pocket and scooping up a bit more Hive to add to the stack!
What about you, are you thinking that this is a great time to buy Hive or is this a time for you to cut your losses and get out? Let me know in the comments!

Very relatable! I used to face quite similar situations in the past, you have some funds but don't really know what to do with it. Just save and keep stacking or trying your hand on this investing game. I think with crypto thinking long term really helps even though that can be quite uncertain with all that is happening right now. For now, I'm mostly focusing on stacking, building a better financial foundation that could help me spring to the next level when an opportunity comes around. What I fear a bit is not having enough exposure with crypto, that will be quite dreadful lol.

I used to buy the the lows in the past but not anymore.
Just posting and stacking now. Feels better.
Yeah I post, stack and buy at the low when I can with the HBD I've got. Glad you're still stacking!
I have been converting HBD to Hive and vice versa when there are sharp movements in the prices every now and then. That said, it's more for the thrill because I am just playing around the spare liquid amounts. Most of my Hive and HBD are staked, for the Hive Power, and the 15% APR.
My plan is to buy some Hive while it is low and hoping that it would rise once again
