Yeah I enjoy reading to my son every night for sure! It's one of the times I get to spend with him without any TV or other distractions involved. He pays close attention to these fantasy books that's for sure!

The Abhorsen series is a bit dark, based around going into death and putting the raised dead to rest, so I recommend looking at a synopsis first to see if you think he's ready for it. I'm not sure how old he is now.
Ah thanks for the heads up on that, I don't know if he's going to be into that theme lol his current fave is dragons. I don't know if undead is going to be a good one yet lol
