Today I'm back with another few photos from the recent beach expedition!

Morning Monochrome Monday

There is for sure something great about getting to the beach first thing in the morning, a little while after the sun rises. The aura in the air is wonderful!

With the recent adventures we had at the beach recently, a great aspect of it for me is that I got a really great amount of photos! They run the gamut, but one of the coolest parts about it is that it highlights the dramatic effect the ocean has on the temperatures around us. The sun was beautiful, warm and clear but the ocean was chilled and it ended up covering the peninsula in a thick blanket of fog. Cool shit that's for sure!

It's sadly a little hard to see in the photos I've got here.. but you can kind of see it there below!

While there were certainly a lot of people around, one of the nice things was that it was during the week so there was less people than would be if this was a Saturday or Sunday morning. I certainly enjoy seeing the crowds of people at the beach. There's a lot of great people watching to be done! Lol. Plus lots of incredibly attractive women, but that's besides the point :D

Having the chance to just stroll around the sand with relatively no people was actually really peaceful and cool! We got to enjoy longer stretches of the beach without much fuss, but I was a little annoyed with the people and their dogs on the beach. I get the dogs can enjoy the beach too.. but one of them let their dog take a massive fucking shit near the rocks, and that is just fucking rude.

Still though, I was determined to have some fun! Thankfully the little man still wants to spend time with his old man and we were roaming around looking for cool rocks, sea glass and the like. There was some decent crabs to be found, but this area of the beach really isn't one of those crab ones so we opted for mostly not doing that which is cool.

I would love to be able to spend more time in the mornings at the beach like this, and hopefully I can do at least one or two more early days like this before the summer is over, but you never know. Time flies, things happen and we get busy with the stuff going on with life. It's one of the things that I've for sure learned more about in the last couple of years. That's why it's important to take a little breather like this and enjoy some of the morning sun and surf!
