Hi fellow Hiveians,

Today I wanted to share some additional mid-spring tree blooms that we got to see!

Monochrome Monday Tree Blooms

The springtime where we live is quite the wonderful change, it has a lot of different things going on which I guess is the case of most of the places that are a good distance from the equatorial areas. We're a decent bit away from the equator, so we get all of the different seasons and I think the balance of the seasons is actually pretty good. The different seasons are pretty balanced, at around 4 months each give or take some weeks. This makes it something to look forward to but not enough to get bored of a season before the next one is around the corner!

With springtime, it's definitely refreshing to see the different trees and blooms that are popping up all over the place. These pictures are a few weeks old, as it's taken me a little bit to get all of the different ones up and posted, so the trees have gotten into full leaf instead of these little blooms but it's still good to reflect on how things changed so much just over a few weeks!

The trees are thoroughly enjoying the warmer temperatures, increased sunlight and of particular note around here lately, the increased amount of rain. We've had more rain than normal, but I don't entirely mind because it adds plenty of water to the reservoirs and rivers, so that we will be in good shape for the future parts of the summer and year if things change and we turn into a drier summer, we will be still in decent shape!

The extra rainfall has certainly led to quite a lot of blooms and explosion of green around, which is welcome! The flowers were looking pretty delicious to the various early pollinators, which I can't blame them. I love the smell of these trees! I could walk around them all day and not get sick of the smell, it's refreshing for sure.

I love being around all of the various lakes and rivers to see the buds and sprouts. It gives you a different perspective of the growth, with the background of the waterbody right there. Gives you an appreciation for the dedication of the trees to get their stuff out there and going, to take advantage of the carbon dioxide and sunlight mixture to go back to being powerhouses of churning out oxygen! That helps quite a lot of things, namely humans of course, to get some nice clean and fresh air. I wonder what the exponential increase amount of oxygen churned out in regions like this would be, if it's even measurable, around the springtime versus the winter when the plants and trees are all dormant. It's an interesting thing to think about!

Those a re really beautiful photos!!

I agree, it's so amazing to see the buds and sprouts in the springtime. It's like nature is waking up after a long winter's nap. And I love being near water, it's so refreshing and calming.

Ya being near water and nature at times like this is great! The rejuvenation after a nice long nap is nice to experience.
