Today I wanted to share a few photos of Mother Nature being mad the other day and dropping some snow!

Late Snow Monochrome Monday

One of the most important things to understand... is that the weather can and will be unpredictable where many of us live, but especially where I live!

It's getting towards the middle of April now as I'm writing this, and the other day we got some snow! Most of the years, the snow stops in March somewhere about, or we had a freak snow storm on April 1st, which was a fun April Fools Joke. There haven't been many occasions where we get snow THIS late in the year though, certainly none that I can remember! With the snow though, and the combination of flowers and blooming, I knew that I had best be getting out there to take some photos of the beauty before it melted!

The snow pictures are made even more fun, as I've mentioned a few times, by flipping these things into black and white! I love the look of the black and white snow, on top of the plants coming back to life for the spring time. Hopefully it doesn't mean that we will get another late snow or frost this year, because a few years ago that sadly killed a lot of the plants and flowers, which made it a difficult summer for the farms and crops!

The important thing to think about and remember though, is that the weather patterns are so unpredictable sometimes that things come out of nowhere and smack you right in the face. I do remember looking at the weather a day or two before it happened and saw that it would be raining all weekend. I figured it would be a decent time to be inside and do some spring cleaning. Nope, not with snow! I wanted to go out and take a little jaunt. The little man was feeling under the weather so he couldn't join me, but I made sure to snap plenty of photos for the fella!

I think my favorite photo of the day is for sure the bloomed flower, juxtaposed against the snowy backdrop! I was hoping to get a few photos of a flower covered in snow, but strangely enough this place here didn't have many flowers. Plenty of trees and things like that, but I was a little surprised that we didn't get any flowers besides this one!

I love to see the snow though, in the springtime. I've gotten some cool photos of snow in early autumn or early spring like this, and I think the spring ones are certainly competing with which ones I like better!

I will say though.. I hope we don't get more snow! I'm ready for the springtime and warm weather :D
