Foggy Beach Monochrome Monday
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to share a few photos in the first series from the beach trip we went on the other day!

Foggy Beach Monochrome Monday
Ah the beach.. one of my favorite places to be that's for sure!
We went on a short trip the other day where I took a few days off from work, and we spent time at the beach. It was a great trip, mainly because I wasn't working and I got to have fun in the sun with my son!
One of the cool things about the trip, is one morning I woke up to go out for a short jaunt around to get the juices flowing and I saw that there was a CRAZY batch of fog that landed on the peninsula and it led to some really beautiful picture abilities I think!
This time of year, the sun is shining, the ocean is cold and it all evens out. The frigid ocean, combined with the beautiful and hot weather from the sun, makes it so that you can really have a lot of fun at the beach if you stay in the water. It is really refreshing to be able to get a bit sweaty with whatever you're doing, be it hunting for crabs or sea glass, or playing some games. When you get a little overheated and want to cool off, just pop in the ocean for some relaxation!
I spent quite a bit of time in the water on this trip, compared to others where it was more active. I was just relaxing, soaking up the sun and getting my toes and feet in the frigid temperatures as much as I can. There are a lot of health benefits from being in those conditions! Really cold water activates great fat burning cells. It also circulates that cold ass blood up through your body and it is a natural coolant for you. The rest of your body tries to even it out, so you end up really doing some great work just by standing there in the water.
The early morning sun and weather was wonderful. The sun was shining brightly, with a few clouds out. The fog was all over the place and making a really wonderful looking scene that much better.
Taking the photos from the beach and turning them into black and white was cool but as well interesting. Each of the black and white flavors that I alternate between on my normal routine, didn't have any effect at all. Once I turned it into black and white, it stayed that way even if I switched the algorithm. That was pretty cool for me to see, because normally the picture at least gets adjusted SOME. Nope, not with these! I think they all came out really cool though, there is always something interesting to see with black and white when it comes to ocean and rocks photos!

The foggy beach shots in black and white look stunning—there’s something timeless and peaceful about them. Great capture!
Thanks! Yeah I love the peaceful look of it all. Gives you some time to pause and relax a bit in the chaotic world!
