Debris Monochrome Monday

Waterfalls produce a hell of a lot of bubbles, that's for sure!

This is the last few photos from my son and I's recent trip to the waterfall area that we tend to go fishing at every so often. The fishing sadly isn't great.. but we do really enjoy a visit so that we can enjoy the scenery!

I think one of the things that interests me about the space here is that it's always a little different. Whenever we go, there is always something else about it that ends up happening. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that it's not exactly managed like some other places. We can see quite a bit of debris that is stuck!

This debris is a little annoying for sure, but it also produces quite a bit of interesting stuff to look at. Initially when I was thinking of what I would like to write about and focus on, it wasn't the debris but after looking at the photos, the debris does add some pretty cool elements to it all!

I think the debris also contributes quite a bit to the wild nature of the water and the crazy amount of bubbles and things that end up getting visualized.

Normal waterfalls are cool and all, but I love to see some with the natural stuff in it, meaning stuff that happens to end up there! I know that there are a lot of places that have someone come in and clean things up, which they may also do here but every time we've been here, there is a bunch of shit on the waterfall!

Sometimes the stuff there isn't that bad.. such as a stick with just a few leaves on it haha. That is not always the case though, as there are a lot of large tree limbs that end up getting caught.

With all of the extra water and rain we've gotten this year, it's no wonder that the waterfall is choked. The stuff just floats right on over and lands down here in the path, where eventually more stuff will come and knock it further down. I think this is also the natural way of doing things. Trees will naturally just fall and land in rivers and waterfalls, eventually falling apart and becoming just little bits that flow downstream.

I think the various debris ends up looking really cool in black and white, and adds a lot of unique styles to it! I for sure love the chaos of the middle image, where there is a bunch of really big logs but the water is just flowing and flopping all over the place.
