Blended Monochrome Monday
Hi fellow Hiveians,
Today I wanted to blend a few different monochrome images for the post!

Blended Monochrome Monday
One thing is for sure, I have a lot of pictures stashed away on my laptop! LOL. I will have to count them one of these days but they are definitely in the thousands at this point which is okay. That means I have plenty of pictures to go back and try to find some inspiration in and flip some into black and white!
This week I wanted to do a little bit of a mixture of the black and white pictures, so that I can make sure I don't forget some of the ones that I've had in there for a while. I coincidentally enough, think the pictures are from a different season each which is cool!
Black and white pictures of fire are definitely one of my favorite ones and I know that I am going to take more, because they have such an interesting nature to them. I may be a little obsessive of them but there is so much going on with the picture that it's hard to pick one element! I really enjoy seeing the different shades of gray that are in the picture that represent the coals. We know things are white hot in the middle of that fire but the black and white version tames it down and makes it almost feel like it's a marshmallow or something haha.
Early spring photography has been something I haven't done much of but I know that I certainly want to do it a bit more often! I think the pictures can really come out nicely, such as this one. I know it's all about the flowers and stuff for spring but I enjoy seeing the trees budding and those are often a bit more important in some ways, because they give us much more oxygen and cleansing capabilities!
I love this spot here, it was a river that my son and I started to visit and enjoy in the autumn of last year and I knew that we would be going back in the spring to also partake in some enjoyment of it when things were coming back to life. It's refreshing for sure to see the trees sending out their early signals for the return to life in the early spring, that's a great signal for the rest of the season!
Winter: what some people hate! I enjoy it in many ways, but particularly when we get the opportunity to take some cool snow photography such as this! We didn't get a lot of snow here last year, though we suspect that we are going to get quite a bit this year, so I was lucky to get some decent shots. I love seeing the trees burdened with all that snow and weighing it down, to then gently touch the light pole here. I think this is one of my favorite black and white pictures because of the nature of snow, it's already white and removing all of the other colors from it make it quite a remarkable shot! I wonder if I'll be able to take any interesting pictures like this, in the upcoming winter?!
