Today I wanted to appreciate getting back to adding more Hive Power!

Back to Stack

Now that I've finally got my Leo Premium for a year... it's stacking time!

It was a pretty significant mental game for me to keep the HBD I was earning and trying to save for the Leo Premium yearly membership. I know that it seems like it's not a big deal, but for me, it was a month to earn the 100 HBD to do it. I wanted to make sure that I was earning it instead of just buying it with Hive. That added a little bit of time to it, which isn't the worst of course.

The funny thing about the whole process was how much I was used to selling all of my HBD and just accumulating a crap-ton of Hive, as much as I could! Granted the Hive I've been growing hasn't been the biggest stacks in the world, but they have been pretty significant for me and really enjoyable to see it grow.

Now that the Leo membership is down, it felt good to buy my first Hive the other day with HBD and power that shizz up!

Powering up everything I've got very frequently is something that I started to do a few months ago, following Galen's lead which makes sense in a lot of ways. Sure it's always nice to have some cash hanging around for some fun money, but at the same time on a platform like Hive it's really important to also be keeping an eye on the future and trying to build the stack so that it can help bring exponential growth as things grow and develop.

There is certainly a little bit of question if a platform like Hive will be around in a few years and I think it will, but how it all looks and works is going to for sure be something we all will have to figure out. Will we get crazy quantum computing that just destroys all security and privacy, rendering a place like Hive useless? That's hard to say because we can't forget that it ALSO makes the government's protections equally useless and if there's one thing we know, is that politicians don't like to be scared.

With the pretty rapid changes that are going on in the world in terms of crypto and it's usecase expansion, will there be time that Hive will shine in the spotlight? I really think so because of the technology that we are using here. The front ends and the block explorers make it really easy to figure out who's who and send things to specific people very efficiently and easily. I think that's a huge win for the normie type of person who isn't going to be interested in trying to figure out a bitcoin address with a giant garble of letters and numbers.

I think that with these types of incredible things on the horizon, I know that one of the most important things for me is being around a place like Hive where there are many brilliant people and a considerable amount of cutting-edge information is stored and shared here so it's going to be far out in front of the other platforms in terms of figuring out how the world is adapting.

One thing is for sure, I am going Back to Stack more Hive Power with this type of future in mind!
