Today I can't believe I'm back with another Monochrome Monday post, time is flying!

Apples Monochrome Monday

One of the crazy things about getting older as an adult is time seems to fly faster and faster.. before you know it the seasons go by in the blink of an eye! The days of time going by slowly are certainly gone lol. I know that's not what this post is about but as I'm writing it now I realize that it felt like just a day or two ago I was writing the other Monochrome Monday post, yet here I am a week later LOL what the hell?!

With the upcoming autumn season, one of the things that is my absolute favorite is going apple picking! I love fresh apples for sure and know that one of my favorite activities as a kid was going apple picking, and I have fond memories of it to this day.

Because of that, I've made sure to share those same memories and passion for these types of things with my wife when we were dating and first married as well as with our son. There also isn't much that can beat delicious fresh fruit, let's be honest! Lol. Being out in the orchards and plucking the delicious and juicy apples right off the tree are definitely something special to behold. We enjoy it quite a bit and this day was perfect, not too hot but also not too cold. It was nice and sunny and we enjoyed the weather quite a bit for a few hours of fun.

The apples were delicious but they also look pretty damn cool in black and white, which is the purpose of the post here! There were so many apples that we ended up just picking our fill pretty quickly which was both good and bad, I wanted to stay in the orchard longer but my wife was having some foot issues so she didn't want to be there much longer lol.

Seeing the sunlight shining down on the trees was nice, flipping it to black and white here was a good experiment. I didn't even notice the people walking in the path until I converted it to black and white lol the colors blended together before but it stood out pretty well with that. That's what I enjoy the most about black and white photos, it changes the things that our eyes focus on! It's a remarkable thing for sure, having the fairly straight forward ability to transform an image from one style to another with a few clicks.
