A Little Refresher

Today I wanted to appreciate some time to let my mind relax!

A Little Refresher
Every now and then we need a little bit of a refresher!
A little bit ago I was able to take a short trip with the family. It was great in a lot of ways but one of the main ways for me is that it provided a nice little refresher to get some of the creative juices flowing!
We all need to take some time off to relax and unwind. There are a lot of things going on in the world and in life that make things just super chaotic. The world is moving at such a rapid and crazy pace that it's difficult not to feel dismayed at a lot of these things. It seems like it's moving faster than it ever has before, but at the same time, has this always been what happened? Are we just the same as our parents were, and our grandparents were in terms of how their life flew by? That's certainly a decent brain worm! Lol.
With all of that chaos going on, my mind has been racing in a lot of directions lately. Many of them personal, thinking about the stuff going on in my life, with a lot of them also being the chaotic world. That is certainly a challenging recipe to have to deal with on a lot of levels. Being able to take a few days and unplug to unwind from all of that is a really important thing, in my opinion (as well as many millions of others!!)
An enjoyable thing for me in all of that, is that my little hobby of having some time writing on Hive has gotten a nice little bump up. I was struggling to write one post a night, barely maintaining the stuff I had scheduled out. Some nights I wrote none and that bothered me, but at the same time I was not in the right mindset to do some writing, especially a fair bit of writing.
Taking a few days off, even just a couple, was a really good thing in a lot of ways. I got to spend some great time with my son, playing on the beach. Taking in the sights and sounds of fun, laughter and all that. It was nice! I also got to just let my mind relax and dump some of the bullshit that was floating around in it. It didn't go away, but went to the recycle bin and that's important. We need to be able to regulate that type of stuff so that we don't get completely filled up with bullshit!
Having done some mental housekeeping and recycling, it was great to make room for some of the more enjoyable things. I was able to write a few posts tonight, inspired by the many dozens of photos that I was able to take at the beach of the various beautiful scenes that I could see. There are some stories involved in there as well that I will also write one or two, so that means that there is some fresh and inspiring content.
Getting a little bit of a refresher every so often is an important bit of mental catharsis that's for sure!

Yes! I think mental relaxation time is so important! That's why I sometimes just sit at a cafe and drink my coffee, and then stare into space or people watch. Some people might think I am "wasting" my time, but I am actually clearing the clutter in my mind.
Yeah for sure it's important to figure out ways to just sit, hang out, and let our mind wander a bit! It's great for letting it do a little mental defragmentation :D

So true man! I think it's not just important but necessary to have such mental relaxation because it not only creates a good balance but also allows us to be able to live better in this chaotic world. I appreciate the fresh perspectives that usually emerges from this, seeing things a bit differently :)
Oh for sure dude, getting some insight just getting the stuff organized mentally is really important. We don't have to be doing a lot necessarily, but just letting our mind wander a bit while we just gaze off is great.
Yes,we always need time for our mental health as well as our physical health.But many people neglect it as they more focus on their work.But relaxing our mental health is crucial fo us because we are human we get tired and feel burn out.
Yeah it’s for sure important to take care of our mind as well as our bodies! Without that we aren’t a whole lot that’s for sure!
