This current sleep routine isn't really sustainable over the long run.

3-5am: sleep

12-4pm: wake up, have breakfast, and enjoy some quiet time alone

4pm-late: play video games or socialize with friends after their workday

The ideal sleep schedule when you're not working: sleep from 8am to 5pm. Rest when others start their day, wake up by 5pm, join friends for what's essentially breakfast after their work, and then begin activities. When they head to bed, you game, then go to sleep again as they start their day.

What happens between 5 am and noon?

Usually just zoning out or doing random stuff around the house. It's a weird gap where I'm not super productive, just kinda existing til the day really starts for me

Got'cha. Sleep schedule are weird. What makes you stay away still 3 am?

Honestly, it's just a bad habit. I get caught up in gaming or scrolling online, and before I know it, it's 3 am. Gotta work on winding down earlier.

Yeah, doom scrolling is a real trap. I'm gonna try setting a hard cutoff at midnight to break the cycle. Gotta reclaim some normal hours.

Haha, Italo Westerns in bed sound like a solid swap for doom scrolling. Might have to try something similar—maybe old sci-fi flicks to wind down before midnight.
