Tradition ✨☕ (eng-esp)

Greetings to all coffee lovers! My wish for you today is that you will never lack for a good cup of coffee in the morning. But I also have a question, how did you guys start drinking coffee? Was it by decision, or just because it's a family custom?

In my case drinking coffee is a phenomenon and almost a social condition 😂. Cuba is a country that traditionally likes to drink a lot of coffee. I remember how since I was a child I was served cups of light coffee, according to my age, since getting together as a family to drink it was one of the most important events of the day, especially when the family comes from the countryside. Thus, as I grew up, I was rooting this habit more into my daily life.

What I really wanted to tell you is that my sister is going through the same path. I was surprised the first time that, while we were walking with our mother, she got up the courage to try a cup of coffee with condensed milk (or café bonbon, as we used to call it). Since then, every so often, she asks me to take her with me.

Last Saturday we had left school, and after taking her to jump in an inflatable castle, she had been tired. However, he could not resist the temptation of having another hot coffee. It becomes necessary after a certain time.

So there we were both, sitting opposite each other, waiting for our order. My sister was still recovering from the agitation when the two steaming cups arrived. I ordered a double one for me and a single one for her. Besides tasting delicious, they have the cheapest prices in the whole city at this place. It is a wonder wherever it is analyzed.

I am glad to see that little by little this coffee tradition continues, although I am waiting for the moment when my sister will be really aware of whether she wants to continue with it or not. For me, that is the most important point of traditions.

¡Un saludo a todos los amantes del café! Mi deseo para ustedes el día de hoy es que jamás les falte una buena taza de café en las mañana. Pero también les traigo una pregunta, ¿cómo fue que ustedes comenzaron a tomar café? ¿Fue por decisión, o simplemente por que es costumbre familiar?

En mi caso beber café es un fenómeno y casi una condición social 😂. Cuba es un país que por tradición gusta de tomar mucho café. Recuerdo cómo desde pequeño me servían tazas de café claro, acorde a mi edad, ya que reunirse en familia a beberlo era de los eventos más importantes del día, sobre todo cuando la familia es proveniente del campo. Así, conforme fui creciendo, fui arraigando más este hábito en mi vida diaria.

Lo que realmente quería comentarles es que mi hermana está transitando el mismo camino. Me sorprendí la primera vez que, mientras paseábamos con nuestra madre, se animó a probar una taza de café con leche condensada (o café bombón, como acostumbramos a llamarlo). Desde entonces, cada cierto tiempo, me pide que la lleve conmigo.

El pasado sábado habíamos salido de clases, y tras llevarla a que saltara en un castillo inflable, había quedado cansada. Sin embargo, no se pudo resistir a la tentación que suponía tomar otro café bombón. Se vuelve algo necesario después de cierto tiempo.

Así que allí estábamos los dos, sentados uno frente al otro, esperando por nuestra orden. Mi hermana aún se recuperaba de la agitación cuando las dos tazas humeantes llegaron. Pedí uno doble para mí y uno simple para ella. Además de saber delicioso, en este lugar tienen los precios más baratos de toda la ciudad. Es una maravilla por donde sea que se analice.

Me alegra ver que poco a poco esta tradición del café continúa, aunque espero el momento en que mi hermana sea realmente consciente de si desea continuar con eso o no. Para mí, ese es el punto más importante de las tradiciones.
