To think about what love is. | Para pensar qué es el amor. [Eng-Esp]
Hello Hive friends! Today marks the return of this second installment of what aims to be a monthly summary until achieving a complete follow-up of this 2024. Now it's February's turn and everything it brought with it.
If I could summarize it in one word, it would be dense. February was an extremely dense month. Even when things I didn't expect turned out well, the process was slow and, at times, exhausting.
At first, I had to lay the groundwork to start taking care of myself from a greater awareness. Spending more time with myself, trying to focus on my goals, and avoiding all kinds of distractions were the things I tried to do most in those first days.
I also found myself engulfed in an immense feeling of gratitude towards my friends, and I began to support them in a more present and active way. I have always been an "absent" friend in the sense that I do not usually contact people frequently, however, February helped me change that, and so I was able to reconnect with a bunch of friends while meeting new ones who made the month more joyful.
The Vox Lucis Choir is a constant. In February, we only had one concert, and after that, the rehearsals have not maintained the quality we had before. Through them, I have been able to realize that life is not being so easy for everyone, but that still the efforts to maintain the projects fill you spiritually because you are helping yourself as well as others.
My relationship with discipline has improved significantly. I have seen it reflected in my studies, in my physical well-being, and in my art. Still, that does not change the fact that I still cling to procrastination to avoid doing pending tasks. I have simply had good results, even when I was not so enthusiastic about it.
