To release tensions.

Last Sunday the Vox Lucis Choir, to which I am proud to belong, had one of the last rehearsals before the next concert. This rehearsal was very important, since we won't see each other again until next Sunday, and we were all very very stressed. I wanted to take some photos to document but I didn't want us all to come out with our faces stretched out due to seriousness. Finally, at the end of the rehearsal, a part of the group gathered to take a walk and clear their minds.

We tried to go to three nearby cafes, but no option was convenient: in one they were not providing service and the other two were completely closed. So, we decided that the best thing would be to get to the state ice cream parlor called "The Garden of the Enramadas". This place gets its name because its main entrance is on Enramadas Street, occupying an entire block, and is decorated with elements reminiscent of a greenhouse: pots, hanging plants and even fountains. Unfortunately, due to the poor management of most state-owned businesses, this place has lost prestige and quality, however that did not matter to us, because what always improves any exit is the company.

The flavors they had available were vanilla and zapote. I only asked for two balls because it was not my desire to drink so much ice cream, but to chat with my friends. We talked and laughed a lot as usual and little by little our stress about the rehearsal disappeared.

Something I really liked was talking with my friend Marianni (@rivereyesmusic). She joined Hive when I told her about it and since then she has become a very committed bolgger. In fact, it is she who has inspired me to take more responsibility and commitment to my blog to gain in systematicity. We shared about our current projects and the projections we have for the future. This kind of talk always serves to aggrandize.

After half an hour of ice cream and laughter we left that place, we said goodbye to the waitresses and all the tensions we had been keeping were already gone.

I hope you liked this post. The photos used are my property.

Until next time!
