¡Sonríe! | Smile! [esp-eng] MONOMAD CHALLENGE.

Ayer fue un día bastante divertido. Las fiestas de fin de año son tiempos de estar solo en familia, por lo cual no acostumbro a salir mucho. Entonces, como recién comienza este 2024, cumplí con la tradición de ir a visitar a mi mejor amiga en los primeros días de enero.

Estas conversaciones de inicio de año me gustan mucho. Siempre hablamos de nuestras metas para los siguientes meses y vemos cuánto nos hemos ido superando desde que nos conocemos.

Yesterday was quite a fun day. End-of-year parties are usually family time, so I don't go out much. As 2024 just began, I fulfilled the tradition of visiting my best friend in the first days of January.
I really enjoy these New Year's conversations. We always talk about our goals for the coming months and see how much we've improved since we met.

Mientras ella me comentaba cómo pasó el 31 de diciembre me quedé embelesado mirándola. Siempre la he admirado mucho por ser una chica energética, encantadora y sobre todo natural. A la vez pensé que ella siempre se queja de que nunca me dedico a tomarle fotos, así que aproveché mientras ella entusiasmada contaba su historia y traté de captarla con el lente de la cámara de mi teléfono.

While she was telling me about her New Year's Eve, I was captivated by her. I've always admired her for being an energetic, charming, and above all, natural girl. At the same time, I thought that she always complains that I never take pictures of her, so I took the opportunity while she enthusiastically told her story and tried to capture her with the lens of my phone camera.

Fue muy divertido porque ella comenzó a reírse más de la cuenta y en unos segundos parecíamos borrachos de tanta carcajada. Me sentí muy bien pasando ese momento con ella. Es una persona demasiado especial para mí y espero tener la oportunidad de seguir viéndola crecer en este nuevo año.

It was very fun because she started laughing more than usual and in a few seconds, we seemed drunk from so much laughter. I felt really good spending that moment with her. She is a very special person to me and I hope to have the opportunity to continue seeing her grow in this new year.
