Pausing for the Majestic Sunset

I was in the middle of making supper for myself and the kids last night when the whole lounge lit up. It was crazy! It went from just regular late afternoon/ early evening hues to bright orange.

Unfortunately, I can't hobble very fast, so I think it may have been even more beautiful if I was sitting outside at the exact time of the sunset, but how beautiful are these colours?

Of course, the photos don't quite do it justice but, it really looked supernatural.

Sometimes, it's lovely to just hit the pause button, and admire how beautiful our earth is and how wonderful it is to be alive.
