๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅ‚โญ๐Ÿ’œMommy's Mental Health - Chapter 70 Celebration and Recap๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅ‚โญ๐Ÿ’œ

This week has been hardcore for our family. @zakludick was admitted to the hospital with a very dangerous leg infection. This left me alone with the kids, who were expressing their emotions around Dad being hospitalized by acting out and fighting with each other, and me. I exploded a few times... to be honest. I didn't know how exhausted I was with stress until I literally broke down mentally and physically.

My eating habits have been chaotic/haywire with healthy meals balanced out by shoving as much ice cream (as well as the occasional chocolate) into my face as possible at midnight.

It has also been the hottest week this summer with no wind on most days, which means even opening every window possible doesn't help. A friend of mine covered the windows in her office with tin foil, reflective side out, and it's made a HUGE difference for her. I might try the same.

Luckily for me, I have some wonderful friends who stepped up and made us dinner for the last two nights. It made all the difference in the world.

At the time, I didn't even think of asking for help... but @zakludick could tell I needed help and organized it for me. I am feeling much better today, thank god. I went to visit @zakludick yesterday and we just spent two and a half hours in each other's arms, sometimes drifting off and just holding each other. We miss each other terribly, even though I brought my "hugging" pillow to the hospital for Zak. There's nothing like the human touch.

Anyway, this post is long overdue and I am very excited to bring you the 70th chapter celebration of "Mommy's Mental Health."

Here is each chapter, for those of you who have missed some, and those of you who are new to my blog, or even those of you who are looking for something specific. I also do these chapter recaps for myself so I have easy access to share blogs with my friends and family who are not on the @ecency platform.

I'd like to say a massive thank you to those of you who have upvoted, curated, engaged with me, and taken the time to read my posts. This wouldn;t work without you <3

I'm glad your husband is doing better and is home now. Cellulitis is not fun!

Glad you have people around you who will step and do what needs doing, even something as simple as a provided meal. Sometimes trying to figure out dinner for a family during a stressful time can be too much.

Thanks for sharing and have a lovely day! !LADY

It sounds like you've had an incredibly tough week, and it's completely understandable that you felt overwhelmed. It's amazing how you managed to hold everything together while dealing with so much stress. Your friends stepping up to help with meals must have been such a relief, and it's heartwarming to hear that they were there for you when you needed it most.

It's wonderful that you and Zak were able to spend some quality time together, just holding each other and finding comfort in that connection. Human touch really does have a special kind of healing power.

Remember to take care of yourself and give yourself some graceโ€”you're doing an amazing job, @clairemobey . ๐Ÿ’›
