🎄🤶🎁☃️❄️🎅⛄ It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - Part 2 🎄🤶🎁☃️❄️🎅⛄

The excitement in the air was palpable! There's nothing like digging in the Christmas boxes and finding little items that have somehow survived decades, or even lifetimes. We try to add something new to the tree every year though, so that we can combine old traditions with new ones and make each Christmas a Mobey-Ludick Christmas.

There's something so special about turning on the Christmas lights for the 1st time. Neurologically speaking, it would be interesting to see which parts of our brains light up or activate. @zakludick and I were just talking about what happens to the human brain when we see a cat. So what about a Christmas tree?

We managed to, besides the tree, decorate our whole house (and ourselves) and we had a whale of a time.

@zakludick and his friend Nicholaas (who is joining us for the next three weeks while he is in Cape Town over the Christmas period) made us an incredible braai and helped with much of the assembly and decorating.

Much to everyone's disgruntlement, I managed to get everyone into either a Christmas hat or a pair of reindeer horns. It is my job, you know!

So, even if we started a little late, our home sure feels like Christmas now <3
