🎃🎃friendship and coffee make the world go round 🎃🎃

Can you believe it, but today was my very 1st visit to Starbucks! I've been dying to visit for ages, but really I've been put off by people ranting about overpriced coffee and I must say I'm sad I bought into the negativity, but happy I finally gave it a go!

Starbucks is a relatively new chain here in South Africa. I stand to be corrected, but I think they've only been around about 5 years. Maybe less...

With Halloween just around the corner and pumpkin spice lattes being back on the menu, I couldn't think of a better time to give it a go!

We both chose a Grande pumpkin spice latte, which came complete with whipped cream! Gosh what an indulgent treat and certainly worth every penny. I will warn you that it's a wee bit on the sweet side, but the spice mix is really nice.

Of course, what made the whole experience just that much nicer, was hanging out with a good friend and just having a genuinely relaxed and drama free natter about life.

What a lovely way to start my day. I think we may need to make this a more common occurrence 😊😊
