I have been chatting to @zakludick, my husband person, about this initiative for ages and I've really put a lot of planning, love and thought into how this will work.

The idea of this planned weekly manual curation report of the @busybees is of course to attract some new members to our "hive" but also to showcase some of the brilliant bloggers that we are proud to have in our "close knit" community.

@zakludick produces a progress report EVERY Sunday, without fail, and I will post a link to it here to you can track your own progress over time! This report is an excellent tool for engagement as well as you can follow the posts of those in the community, upvote and make comments. Perhaps even reblog! I will be basing my curation report off @zakludick 's latest report on a weekly basis.

This is a great idea Claire. Personally I think Hive engagement has gone down the tubes as a general rule. People are only interested in making sure they post, and then if they engage it is generally on their own post. They don't go out and read and engage on other posts. They might drop the you have been curated by stamp but not make a meaningful comment.

I don't know if you could knock up a wee banner or badge to say this is a visit from another bee which we can drop with our comment?

Let me go and see some of the posts!

Oh absolutely! I have created banners for both the hive south Africa and busy bees community at the bottom of the post as obviously, part of the goal is to grow our communities. Especially the busy bees! We have potential for great growth and it feels good to be part of something special.

I agree. I have been frantically posting instead of engaging but the results have been dismal across the board. I have personally forgotten how important engagement is!

I must agree, engagement seems down overall and I'm pretty guilty of it myself. There's so much to do on Hive it's hard to keep buzzing around everywhere. Hopefully a little extra curation and some more engagement from other bees will keep a buzz in everyone's day. !SLOTH and steady wins the race!

I am not so sure there is too much to do on Hive, I think it is a case of many people now just post for rewards. Hive is a hell of a lot less social now than when I joined.

But I am as guilty as anyone so yeah, will go engage with our group of busy bees and see who engages back!

Yeah definitely a majority of users just chasing the earnings, that's the main goal of most in crypto. Well just need to buck the trend and keep the engagement up, keep on buzzing!

Well, @consciouscat, we're not technically married but we live the married life. But we'll do the proper thing right when we can afford it 🤗 we've both come from horrible 1st marriage experiences so we want to make it special.
