πππA tale of three tails part 10: You know winter is here when...πππ
Mittens has finally bullied her way into the hierarchy of female cats and although she's hard to spot or catch a photo of, even Squeek has given up on fighting it. Mittens is here to stay and I have a feeling she's going to rule the roost!
While it was still nice and warm outside, the older girls could get away with shunning our newest addition, but now that its cold, they're all choosing comfort and cuddles over solitude and horrible weather.
This means shared sleeping spaces and compromising!
Mittens still likes to express her love by biting the crap out of all of us, so every now and again we have to make a sushi cat out of her so she'll just SIT STILL FOR TWO SECONDS.
Sometimes Lexi finds a special spot to hide and truth be told, if I could fit in there, I'd sleep in there too!
Mittens has now been microchipped and has had her 1st round of vaccines. Next she'll be sterilised and will have her next set of shots, which will mean we'll let her roam and go poop in the neighbours garden as nature intended! For now, we are allowing supervised outside time, and she's just loving it. She definitely knows where her bread is buttered (or where the salmon is kept) though, and on Sunday afternoon, I found her sleeping in the sun on the windowsill next to an open window.
What a glorious thing it is to be surrounded by my gorgeous kitties.
I maintain that even if they drive me nuts sometimes, and I HATE the feeling of cat litter under my feet when I get out of the bath, a home is just not a home without kitties.
The boy next door, MewMew, who has shown far too much interest in our young lady! He is also the reason she needs a chaperone at all times when she's outside. Lest the Mittens multiplies!!
cuteness overload!

Oh awesome thank you for stopping by!
MEOWTH! @fraenk has sent a tip of 10 CAT your way.
Your post is fantastic. Since we need to spread Ecency votes among more authors, I would encourage you as an Ecency curator to boost your post with fewer points.
Thank you for the advice and encouragement. I will certainly keep that in mind. β€οΈ
