Birds smarter than the Gardner.
I missed last week's Question of the Week because I came across it late, but before I write about this weeks question, I just feel like posting about what happened to my mango tree because it's frustrating. Sure, I'm gonna show my neighbor's garden. Thanks for the opportunity.
The same issue I had with my guava tree is what I'm experiencing with my mango tree. Birds won't allow the fruits to ripen before feasting on them.
This mango tree has never yielded any reasonable fruit but really did well this year. But instead of having a good harvest, birds represented me, took over and started early harvesting with their beaks.
Each time I spotted some mangoes that are almost ripe, the birds had already done justice to them. It was really annoying. I've been busy lately and never had the chance to attend to the plant, but I had to create time out of no time to pluck the unripe ones.
I couldn't wait anymore for the fruits to ripen on the tree, which is always the best. These birds annoy me. And to think of it, they are tiny birds that cannot be consumed. Had it been it’s the big ones, I would have left the mango as bait and captured them one after the other, but those tiny ones are useless. They are just pests that add no value, just destruction.
Now that I have harvested the ones within their reach, they seldom come around my garden. Killing them is of no use. I even thought of lacing one of the mangoes with poisonous insecticide, but then, they are animals too, and they need to live. If man refuses to plant, how will they survive?
The earth was designed balanced. Maybe if they had a more developed sense, they would seek permission before feeding. To them, they are feeding, but to us, they are destroying. What a twist.
But wait! Are the birds really smarter here? 😀
This weeks question will be attended to. Thanks for having me around and,
Thanks for reading.

One love.
All images are mine except if otherwise stated.
Wow, the mango looks really sweet. And the fruit looks good. Your neighbor must be taking really good care of it❤️
Thanks @suarlex. Yes, the mangoes are pretty nice. Can I throw one across the ocean down to you? 😀 Lol!... I appreciate your comment. 👍
Hehehe yes my friend but I'm afraid it won't arrive 🤣🙏❤️
The Pacific ocean will swallow it.... 😂😂
Hhhh🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing. I'm not sure which question you answered though?
