Optimizing my collection to play in Modern [ENG/ESP]

Since the "Modern" game mode came out I have played it very little, I have been more focused on wild and using all the cards which is what I like the most, but now with the large amount of bots present and the possibility of playing in modern without them I have been spending more time in that mode, testing it and getting used to play there, it is not easy after more than a year to adapt and stop playing with cards that I usually play.

However I have to confess that it is more fun to play against real people than against bots. Based on that I decided to go through the market through the @peakmonsters portal to make some purchases and improve my collection, so I can be more competitive there.

I usually play in Silver although my goal has always been to conquer the bronze ranking, unfortunately I have not been able to, there was a time where I was in the top 10 but in the end I was in the order of 400, I will try to do it in the Modern format, we'll see what happens later.

Desde que salió el modo de juego “Modern” poco lo he jugado, he estado más concentrado en wild y en el uso de todas las cartas que es lo que más me gusta, pero ahora con la gran cantidad de bots presentes y la posibilidad de jugar en modern sin ellos he estado pasando más tiempo en ese modo, testeándolo y acostumbrándome a jugar allí, no es fácil después de más de un año adaptarme y dejar de jugar con cartas que usualmente juego.

Sin embargo tengo que confesar que es más divertido jugar contra personas reales que contra los bots. En base a eso decidí pasar por el mercado a través del portal de Peakmonster para hacer unas comprar y mejorar mi colección, de manera de poder tener una mayor competitividad allí.

Suelo jugar en Plata aunque mi meta siempre ha sido conquistar el ranking en bronce, lamentablemente no he podido, hubo una vez donde estuve entre los 10 primeros pero al final quede en el orden de los 400, intentare hacerlo en el formato Modern, ya veremos qué pasa más adelante.

Now thinking about the optimization I looked at 4 cards to buy at level 3, I usually rent them because I use them a lot, however I was encouraged to buy them but I could only buy 2 because I spent some dec from hive-engine to the game and I have not yet arrived, although I have been reviewing the transaction history and they disappeared, I do not see them anywhere, I guess it was a mistake and they will be reflected again.

The cards I was able to buy this time were Radiated Scorcher, Radiated Brute and Mycelic Morphoid, they are very functional cards mostly because of the abilities they have, which well used can destroy or weaken the opponent's strategy quickly.

Radiated Scorcher is a card that can be used in almost every battle because it needs only 1 point of mana to summon it, it is a common card and its main attraction is its "Shatter" ability, with it you can easily destroy the opponent's armor with a single hit, that is very useful and in a battle where melee cards can attack from any position its effect is brutal. I acquired it through the Peakmonster market at a cost of $0.375, quite affordable price.

Ahora bien pensando en la optimización me fije en 4 cartas para comprar en el nivel 3, generalmente las alquilo porque las uso bastante, sin embargo me anime a comprarlas aunque pude solo adquirir 2 porque pase unos dec desde hive-engine al juego y aun no me han llegado, aunque he estado revisando el historial de transacciones y se me desaparecieron, no los veo por ningún lado, supongo ha sido un error y ya se reflejaran nuevamente.

Las cartas que pude comprar esta vez fueron Radiated Scorcher, Radiated Brute y Mycelic Morphoid, son cartas muy funcionales más que todo por las habilidades que poseen, las cuales bien usadas pueden destruir o debilitar la estrategia rival rápidamente.

Radiated Scorcher es una carta que se puede utilizar en casi todas las batallas pues necesita solo 1 punto de mana para convocarla, es una carta común y su mayor atractivo es su habilidad de “Shatter”, con ella fácilmente puede destruir la armadura rival de un solo golpe, eso es muy útil y en una batalla donde las cartas con melee pueden atacar desde cualquier posición su efecto es brutal. La adquirí por el mercado de Peakmonster a un costo de $0.375, bastante accesible su precio.

Radiated Brute, esta carta suele ser más útil pues su habilidad de “reach” le permite atacar desde la segunda posición, esto es muy ventajoso, incluso pienso que en el splinter de fuego es algo obligado utilizar esta carta, los tanques de allí tienen mucha potencia por lo que un monstruo como Radiated Brute cuidándole las espaldas y potenciado con “x” invocador podrá golpear con +3 fácilmente en cada turno. La compre también en Peakmonster a un costo de $0.374

The last card I could acquire was Mycelic Morphoid, like Radiated Scorcher it only needs 1 point of mana to be used, this one belongs to the Earth Splinter and has the ability of thorns, a very but very well known and used ability in the game, which speaks of its great utility to do retributive damage to the enemy. I bought this one through the internal market of the game, its price was $0.310.

La última carta que pude adquirir fue Mycelic Morphoid, al igual que Radiated Scorcher solo necesita 1 punto de mana para ser utilizada, esta pertenece al Splinter de tierra y tiene la habilidad de espinas, una habilidad muy pero muy conocida y utilizada en el juego, lo cual habla de su gran utilidad para hacer daño retributivo al enemigo. Esta la compre por el mercado interno del juego, su precio fue de $0.310

I bought the three cards in their Gold foild to have a little more power in the collection. Progressively I will buy cards to improve my team, that way it will be easier to play, because the goal is to do it without renting but as we move forward in the game we will see.

Las tres cartas las compre en su Gold foild para así tener un poco más de poder en la colección. Progresivamente iré comprando cartas para mejorar mi equipo, de esa forma me será más fácil jugar, pues la meta es hacerlo sin alquilar pero a medida que vamos avanzando en el juego vamos viendo.
