Buddy Bear #8 - Greetings from Havana! 🐻🌍

What a wonderful surprise - my little collection is growing! 🥰
I was delighted to receive a few new Buddy Bear photos in the last few days - and today I'd especially like to present two impressive specimens that have travelled all the way from Havana, Cuba. 🇨🇺📸

The two colourful bears (see picture above) are representative of what this art campaign stands for worldwide: diversity, creativity and the unifying power of art. To be honest, I didn't realise for a long time that the Buddy Bears are not only to be found in Berlin. I always thought they were a purely Berlin phenomenon - all the better that I was wrong! 😄

A big thank you goes to @ibarra95 , who sent me these two great pictures. He also received a well-deserved Hive Dollar for this, and I've put him in this post as a 50% beneficiary. A fair gesture for such a great addition to my little digital exhibition. 🧡

The two Buddy Bears in Havana show once again how far the message of tolerance, diversity and peaceful coexistence has been carried - even on the other side of the Atlantic. How wonderful that art builds bridges in this way!

Buddy Bear #8 – Grüße aus Havanna! 🐻🌍

Was für eine wunderbare Überraschung – meine kleine Sammlung wächst! 🥰
Zu meiner großen Freude wurden mir in den letzten Tagen einige neue Buddy-Bären-Fotos zugeschickt – und ganz besonders möchte ich heute zwei beeindruckende Exemplare vorstellen, die den weiten Weg aus Havanna, Kuba zu mir gefunden haben. 🇨🇺📸

Die beiden farbenfrohen Bären (siehe Bild oben) stehen stellvertretend für das, was diese Kunstaktion weltweit ausmacht: Vielfalt, Kreativität und die verbindende Kraft der Kunst. Dass die Buddy-Bären nicht nur in Berlin zu finden sind, war mir ehrlich gesagt lange nicht bewusst. Ich dachte immer, sie wären ein rein berlinerisches Phänomen – umso schöner, dass ich mich da irren durfte! 😄

Ein großes Dankeschön geht an @ibarra95, der mir diese beiden tollen Bilder geschickt hat. Dafür hat er auch einen wohlverdienten Hive Dollar erhalten, und ich habe ihn in diesem Beitrag als 50% Beneficiary gesetzt. Eine faire Geste für eine so tolle Bereicherung meiner kleinen digitalen Ausstellung. 🧡

Die beiden Buddy Bären in Havanna zeigen einmal mehr, wie weit die Botschaft von Toleranz, Vielfalt und friedlichem Miteinander getragen wurde – auch auf der anderen Seite des Atlantiks. Wie schön, dass Kunst auf diese Weise Brücken baut!
