About new Blockchain Game - CITY FARM
Hey Gamer, have you heard about CITY FARM? If you're not familiar with it, no worries – it just launched a few days ago. But I've been keeping an eye on this new game for a couple of weeks now. @bigdogbone and @cityfarm have both been posting several articles recently, introducing the features and gameplay of CITY FARM. From what I gather, it's a game that's easy to pick up and play, mainly focusing on resource management to generate profits. So, I've been thinking about diving into this game.
However, there's a catch – to play CITY FARM, you need to buy either the Initial, General, Special, or Super Special Packs. I initially planned to go for the Special Pack, but I've decided to hold off for now.
One of my reasons for this consideration is that $Hive has recently taken quite a hit in its value. Waiting for it to recover before investing might make more sense in terms of returns. Additionally, the early stages of the game might have some bugs that could affect the experience. Waiting for the game to stabilize a bit before getting into it could lead to a better overall experience.
From what I've observed, there's another game on Hive Chain similar to CITY FARM called Hashkings. Hashkings has been running for over three years and just had a major update. Apart from the basic crop planting and harvesting for profits, it offers a more diverse range of gameplay. I tried it out for a bit recently, but it felt like a lot of time was spent waiting. The new version requires a King Pass to enter the game, which made it a bit challenging for me to continue testing.
If CITY FARM offered new players a chance to experience the game for free, it would be even better. But this is a matter of perspective – for the game development team, players who don't spend money might not be their target audience, so they might not focus on them as much. I hope to see more insights shared by other players in the future, or I'll share more detailed thoughts once I start playing the game myself.
