Morning. I'm amused because I just sat down at my desk with my first coffee of the morning, a dark, unsweetened, piping hot latte.
While I savor it, I look for what's in @cinnccf and I find myself with this dilemma that is not a dilemma, because my immediate answer and the one I keep is that I accept the 20,000 dollars, since I never lack coffee and I don't have to lack it, with the dollars I can visit many coffee shops to share the experience, and suddenly it occurs to me that I can buy a small espresso machine, many imported coffees and make a post about them.

The question in this talk is a very funny one. In my case, I guess I wouldn't give it much thought, how much free coffee could I not drink with $20k? In fact, I could even have my own coffee shop and drink all the free coffee I want (well, not so much that I'd take a loss...) We live in a world where we can't do without money, and we can't do without coffee either!
Here I have a happy face because I've already decided what to do with this dilemma.
Haha I liked asking this question because on one hand, 20k is probably more than you could ever spend on coffee... but a lifetime supply of coffee? Well, that's as much as you want in theory... many possibilities here hehe

I want 20 thousand USD today, of course! This way I will have both 20 thousand dollars and free coffee for life. You wonder how’s that gonna work? Now I’ll explain…
I’m gonna invest the money in a stock index fund or some place that gives roughly 10-12% profit every year. This means every year I will get about 2000 bucks, or about 160 every month. My coffee usually costs no more than 80, so I will reinvest the remaining 80. In about 10 years I will still have my free coffee and I will have 30 000 dollars in possession. Genius!

I would take them and make my own cafe, a cafe with a unique and special style with a cozy and peaceful concept. This would give me the option of producing delicious coffee in my own business, and also having the option of meeting people who love coffee, and giving them an experience of enjoying delicious, unforgettable coffees. Like everyone else, I have my needs and shortcomings. That money would be perfect to get out of debt....but the cost is too high. I can get the money by working and making handmade projects to sell, but how could I replace the coffee? That aroma, that bitter and sweet taste, unique and special?

Unfortunately, I feel that my experience as a coffee lover has been limited by lack of money and I know that by having enough to spend, I could enjoy coffee the way I crave 😘💚

"Free coffee for life" sounds tempting, but as I'm not in my twenties anymore--and I don't know if there will be another pandemic either 😩--, I'd take the money now and play safe. Even if I don't invest the money for some extra profit, it'll be enough to cover my coffee expenses for forty years or so. Seems like my money for coffee will last more than my teeth 😂
Besides, I like making my own coffee my family's traditional way, using a moka pot, and that's not expensive, so $20,000 sounds like "free coffee forever " to me 😁
Finally, I guess I'd be just as happy if I wasn't charged every time I had my coffee out of the house at some fancy coffee shop 😁 If the free coffee can be specialty coffee every time and at chic coffee shop, perhaps I must reconsider. May I read the small print, please? 😜

The question has got me thinking.... Both options are really attractive to me!!! My head has been filled with numbers and mathematical operations, but I have come to the conclusion that I prefer free coffee for life, with the amounts I consume daily that money would be insufficient to cover that expense 😅

In spite of being a coffee lover in every expression of the word, I would go for the money option, and for the simple reason that money can facilitate the conclusion of a project that involves coffee, in my case I would begin to cultivate coffee, in truth that I am very passionate about the subject, from its cultivation, harvesting, washing, drying and roasting process. I would work on having my own brand of coffee that would be very well known and of course I would give free coffee to all my friends and family.
Dreaming doesn't cost anything! Haha...
