I think we all coffeeholics feel about the same when it comes to our top five favorite things (about coffee). I really like the last item on your list; there's so much to say about it. Sometimes coffee is just a perfect excuse to meet with people even if you like it only a little bit.
That's right friend @marlyncabrera, it is a meeting point for socializing, there is a lot to say in a conversation, coffee makes it pleasant and enjoyable, even when we don't like the people with whom we share it.

In my own view the colour of a coffee makes it stand out from other beverages.
Oh… let’s think a little bit, because every little detail related to coffee is a unique one. Of course, speaking of good quality coffee, because cheap and over roasted coffee beans can bring you only charcoal and burning plastic flavors… 🤷🏻
But coffee, if grown properly and with care can bring you a lot of beautiful feelings. I was thinking about this coffee conversation topic while preparing the breakfast for the children…
The first thing is that coffee helps me to wake up in the early morning, not with the caffeine inside, but with its divine flavor.
Secondly, specialty coffee leads me in a world of various flavors, which almost never repeat. Every different crop and every different place gives its touch to the delicious coffee cherries.
The third thing is that coffee made me meet interesting people with similar passion about coffee and we always share our coffee finds.
The fourth thing… buying a good quality coffee, from a small farmer helps the environment and local family businesses. I am happy to enjoy these products and I am Sure that farmers are happy that their coffee is being loved!
Finally coffee brings me warmth everytime under every circumstance. No matter if it is a hot summer day, or a cold snowy one like today, a cup of warm or cold coffee always warms my soul.
The art of drinking coffee in the morning is wonderful, I smell the aroma of good coffee for a long time, then I enjoy it, that good habit comes from childhood.
It's wonderful to support local farmers, Here most of the coffee sold in my town is regional and national, I rarely buy imported coffee, except when I see it new on the shelves, I must try it to see what flavor it leaves on my palate and to be able to experience something new.

If your country has the right climate to grow coffee, then you should really buy local. It would be cheaper and superior. But when my country is not a coffee producer, then I seek different flavors from all around the world… Costa Rica, India, Indonesia, Kenya… and a lot more! I find joy in exploring the colorful world of coffee!

It is a passion for coffee, to the point that for me it is an art, to serve and take the correct way of a good cup of coffee, it takes its techniques, although it seems simple. For example: coffee in a machine, coffee maker or making it traditionally with a strainer, for my taste, I prefer the latter, the feeling of coffee at home, is the best for home and family, the smell permeates every corner, awakens the senses, but wow when you take a first sip, I see the glory that surrounds.

Shpping local matters all the time and If I had some coffee producers near me I would reach them directly. Sadly, coffee is a crop that cannot be found anywhere in Europe and local farmers cannot grow it. But of course, always the small people in front of the mass producers!
Jamaican Blue mountain coffee has always been a trademark and somehow national crop for your country! It always has its specific vibes and flavor profile!

Reading you makes me remember the time my friend told me that I shouldn't drink any coffee if I was mad. I got some bad news and thought, "I need some coffee to help me process this." He gave me that look which only made me feel worse. I can't remember if I drank that coffee or not in the end, but the friendship did lose its charm since that day, haha. Coffee is my favorite mood changer when something is bothering me.

Hello all coffee lovers! 😁☕️ Here I leave you my top 5 things I like about coffee, they don't necessarily have an order, but these are the things that, for me, make coffee an indispensable part of my life:
Its smell: For me, there is nothing more restorative than the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Just by smelling its pleasant aroma, it's incredible how my spirits rise. I even think it is the most immediate. I like it so much that one of my wishes is to get a perfume that smells like coffee ha ha I recently smelled a scented candle in a bazaar that had a coffee scent and I fell in love with it.
Its warmth: And I'm not talking about the temperature, but about the pleasant feeling that the coffee leaves in my "spirit" after having consumed it. It's like words of encouragement when I feel sad. I know that caffeine would not be the most appropriate for moments of tension or when we feel upset, but in my case, it is precisely when I need coffee, because when I drink it, my whole body is taken over by that feeling of well-being, as if it were a kind of warm hug.
Its flavor: There is nothing like having a cup of coffee prepared perfectly to our liking. In my case, I know how I like my coffee in terms of the amount of coffee and sugar, so when I get it at its perfect point, I know that I will have started the day on the right foot. That reminds me of the time I went to someone's house and out of courtesy, they wanted to make me coffee. He confessed to me that it was his first time making it, apologizing in advance if it didn't taste good... I must mention that it was one of the best cups of coffee I have ever tasted in my life and its delicious flavor affected me so much that every time I try coffee, I hope to find the flavor of that afternoon.
Versatility: I am always amazed at how good things taste if you add coffee to them. Coffee ice cream, coffee caramel, coffee cake... Every time I come across a recipe in my feed, I just look at it, but if it has "coffee" in its title, my thought will be "I have to try this."
Connectivity: It's amazing how coffee brings people together. Whether as an excuse to meet up with a friend we haven't seen in a while or to spend a pleasant afternoon with family; Coffee seems to be the favorite at any meeting time. Therefore, I like to think that coffee has the incredible power to bring people together. One of my favorite questions when I meet someone is "Do you like coffee?" and if the other person answers yes, I know we can end up liking each other haha

I had the opportunity to have a coffee-scented perfume, it really was exclusive, after the crisis in my country, I have not used it again, I can't find it anywhere, I miss it very much.

Oh, believe me, I've had a terrible cup of coffee once too often (office coffee, the worst kind).
Oh yeah! It's so sad when they manage to spoil the coffee like that! 😟 In my case, the coffee was drunk many times and it was exaggeratedly black, but the worst thing: It tasted like everything, except coffee 🤣 I took it out of courtesy. Same thing with coffee that's so clear it's almost transparent (my mom calls that kind of coffee "strainer water" haha). Without a doubt, these are crimes against coffee 😝

If I start my morning without coffee my day is not the same, and afterwards I feel down and have a headache. Coffee gives me the energy to start my day and often cheers me up when I'm tired in the evenings 🤸.

5 things I love about coffee.
The taste It is one of a kind the area grown, roasting, extraction it all plays a part in making a coffee taste a certain way. it is very hard to achieve a good taste and when it is good it is perfect.
The atmosphere in the cafe Sitting in a coffee shop whether relaxing, working or socialising there is just a calm feel to the room and it is very enjoyable to be in and a part of.
Energy Yep there is no better drink to get you through those long days, coffee does the job.
The Range offered There are so many brewing methods, so many coffee types and there are always new ways of making coffee and that excites me. it is awesome knowing that there isn't a "one-way method" of making a coffee and that it all comes down to preference.
The morning rush Sure no one likes standing in line at a coffee shop to grab a coffee to go, but it is an important ritual to do in the rush hour mornings. Knowing that other people are doing what you are doing and being involved in that although normally annoying, it is what makes coffee coffee.
Sitting in a cozy coffee shop is always relaxing. And if you have a coffee companion with you it is even greater!

I hadn't thought about it. That one completely slipped my mind! It must be because my coffee time happens regularly at home. And besides, coffee shop managers here like to play music that doesn't make you relax. If I could visit a coffee shop where I could get that "calm feel" you're talking about, I would've definitely included that feature in my top 5.

4- as for my cup of hot black coffee, the feeling of warmth that soothes me and helps me calm down
If something's worrying me, I go for coffee. If I'm happy, I go for coffee. I don't quite know what it means, but one thing for sure is that I always find an excuse to go for a cup of hot black coffee, even if it's hot.
5- finally, the sound that my moka pot makes when brewing my freshly ground coffee (preferably at dawn, when the first light begins to bathe the room)
It tells me, it's going to be a good day. And through the day, I know I can always come back to the safety of that moment. I'm still going through my coffee fixation stage, uh-huh 😁

hello fellow coffee lovers! i've been a silent reader of the community and finally decided to interact. here is my list.
it all starts with the preparation - i usually have dripped coffee at home. from the sound of the piping kettle to how water slowly drips from the filter, it all brings excitement.
the aroma - it just brings me joy. there is no secrets with coffee, you immediately know when someone is making one. the aroma alone wakes up my senses.
the taste - that exciting blend of bitterness and fruity or even chocolatey. it uplifts my spirit. i prefer a warm mug for that added roasted taste.
that shared experience with friends - for people in their 30s, there is no perfect time for catching up other than over a cup of coffee. it sets the mood, it warms the soul, it makes you open up.
it's the perfect companion for desserts - yes i said it. i immediately think of coffee when having desserts. coffee is unassumming, it can be the center of attention but it can also be just at the background making sure the experience is complete.
and that is why my picture of coffee usually have desserts on the side.

The five things I love about coffee are:
The aroma it produces when it is freshly brewed, that intense smell reaches the nose and bewitches immediately, it is irresistible to me and I have to go immediately to pour myself a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
The flavor that produces multiple sensations in my palate, depending on what is added to it, the taste experience is not the same between one preparation and another.
The smoke it produces, it may sound strange, but I love to see how the smoke comes out either from the strainer, the coffee maker or the coffee machine, it seems to me a sublime scene that fills the atmosphere.
I love that when I'm in a very low mood, a cup of coffee produces a burst of energy and lifts my spirits to continue with my routine.
The way it invites us to socialize, a very important addition that coffee has is the way it makes itself present in a visit, conversation or meeting.
Those are the five things that fascinate me about coffee, I hope to read your comments and know what you like.

It is almost impossible for me to list only 5 characteristics of coffee that I love, but I will do my best.
For me coffee is an art that goes from that day when someone decides to plant a seed, the care of the plant, the harvest, the roasting and grinding of the bean, to then take it to the machine and brew a delicious coffee that we will serve in a cup. For me that is art.
