Cine TV Community Spotlight #11
Hello and welcome to the 11TH edition of Cine TV Community Spotlight. The Cine TV Spotlight Series has begun in a bid to boost engagement and interaction in the community and showcase the work of deserving authors.
And it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.

Title: Joker: Folie à Deux
The beginning started slowly and steady with a promise of an impressive and perfectly put together plot, but as the movie progressed, it all went down flat. At first, I didn't know it was a musical. Few minutes into the movie, when the musical started and I was confused and questioning myself if I downloaded the wrong movie. You can't mix a dark psychological story together with a musical that is full of energy and spectacle. That is a catastrophe. I see this sequel as a slap on the face of the avid lovers of the first sequel.

Title: Kesari: 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans
Putting aside the sheer hopelessness of the war, what hurts my heart the most and makes me sad is that the 21 soldiers put everything on the line, both materially and morally. Each of them is making history with their fight for their beliefs. Director Anurag Singh has managed to present this unbelievable story not only as a war but also as a story of humanity. Think about it, it is not easy to create a movie that has the capacity to make people cry.

Title: Beautiful Disaster
I watched this movie and I loved it. I didn't know it was a book adaption, although it was giving the vibes of a book that seemed familiar. It was really really good. I enjoyed it and both characters played their roles perfectly. I've always been a big fan on Dylan Sprouse so you can bet that I genuinely enjoyed this movie. I watched it from start to finish, without pausing or anything,something I don't do quite often. It's an 18+ rated movie as they are some scenes that can seem like an erotic pushover if that makes any sense.

Title: Our Little Secret
It isn't the typical lovey-dovey storyline where the man moons over a woman who wouldn't give him attention and when she finally does, it's a ‘Christmas miracle’ and they end it with a kiss. Instead it's a tale of a couple once separated by life's twists, reconnecting under unexpected circumstances. They keep their former relationship a secret and before the holiday is over more secrets are unraveled. It's like a romcom with mild mystery, but not in a bad way.

Title: Your Monster
Laura's parents have been away for a while on holiday so Laura has the whole of her New York apartment to herself. One night, she goes into her bedroom closet to fetch something and she bumps into a monster played by Tommy Dewey after a few scenes of Laura running away from the monster. They slowly become comfortable with each other and they form a nice relationship. They watch movies together, they eat together, they become quite close.

Title: Hysteria
Honestly, a rule you have to follow is that when you read or see Bruce Campbell playing in a movie or show you have to watch it. Now starting with the good things, the cast does an amazing job. Literally, everyone is spot on and i had sometime to see something like this. There is a mystery that keeps on going and gets you hooked until the last couple of episodes which is awesome as i watched the series in a go, so you can imagine how hooked i was.

Title: The Machinist
The Machinist was really executed brilliantly. The shots of Bale looking insanely skinny always sort of creeped me out. Due to those images I assumed this movie would be kind of overly artsy and maybe it would take itself too seriously. But 'The Machinist' was actually pretty vulnerable and felt sadly realistic. Much of the movie made little to no sense to me, until the ending.

Title: Orphan Black: The Clone Club
One thing I loved the most about this series is how the producer managed to blend science with family, love and survival. This series made me laugh and cry at the same time. I saw how much people sacrificed for those they loved and those they didn’t even know much about. Just the thought of them being family was enough for you to go to the end of the world for them.
