World without modern medicine will lead to loss of life

In a world where people can’t access modern means of treatment, everyone has to go back to herbs. We Africans were familiar with herbs before, and now going back to only herbs will not really be nice. I can still remember that back then, when I was growing up, I started with my grandma's. She never buys drugs for me. One's sick; all she will do is go inside the bush and get some leaves and cook for me. Immediately, I take them, and in a few hours, I will be okay. Herbs were our means of treatment before we were introduced to modern medicine.
Till I left my village, I never visited the hospital for one's. It has become part of me. I find it hard to visit the hospital to run some tests or checkups. I will just enter the bush or go to the market and buy those herbs. I take them. The herbs are good when it comes to malaria, infertility, and so on. Some people think that herbs are not effective. Herbs are very effective, and they work very fast.
Herbs have been in existence since before I was born. An herb is not a new thing, and this herb has cures for diseases. It was the only means of mediation used by our forefathers, and it really worked well for them. There are many benefits of herbs, or for me, herbs are safer than modern drugs, but there are some illnesses that they can’t cure.
In my opinion, we should not rely on herbs only for our medical treatment because herbs have their benefits, but being the only means of treatment is not cool. There are thousands of illnesses that herbs cannot cure. It will not be nice for us to depend only on herbs; there is a need for modern treatment.
During our forefatherslives, most of them died because they didn’t get adequate treatment. If herbs were the only means of treatment, people would lose their lives.
A world without modern medicine will not be fun at all. I have this uncle of mine who almost lost his life due to ignorance. My uncle will be the last human to visit the hospital. He is taking herbs. Thank God that my father visited him that faithful day and rushed him to the hospital. It happens that he has cancer, and the cancer is in the second stage.
We can’t underrate the benefit of herbal drugs, but it will be very difficult to scrap modern treatments from our generation; it will cause a loss of life. I understand that most people prefer herbs because the treatment is cheap.
Conclusion: There are many benefits to herbal treatment, but a world without modern treatment will be a hell of a hell. I would say the two are very important. Remember that not all illnesses can be cured by herbs. Both herbal and modern medicine are important. In my opinion, the two should stay.
