If the vaccine was not important, the World Health Organisation (WHO) would not permit it. Kids start receiving this vaccine at an early stage of life it has really helped to prevent these kids from being affected.

I have been hearing about vaccines since my early stage – how they have been of help to humanity. We were able to overcome many diseases, such as polio, covid-19 and so on. There is sickness everywhere, and this vaccine has really helped to save lives. The vaccine is introduced to boost the immune system so that it will be able to defend itself against diseases.

Vaccines are one thing that have been able to protect both children and adults from infection and diseases. This vaccine has really been of help to humans; it has helped to reduce the risk of contracting many diseases. Seeing this prompt, I get to understand the reasons why the World Health Organisation normally gives free vaccines to people, especially the young ones going to school and churches, to immunise these kids.

I get to realise how important vaccines are to humans. I can never underrate vaccines; they are very important to our health. I can remember when I was going for my service; they made it compulsory that every corps member must take the vaccine for Covid-19 in order to prevent us from being infected. Most times, due to fear, people find it hard to take the vaccine. I can remember during that time of Covid the majority of people were finding it hard to take the vaccine. Rumours had it that people who took the vaccine would start reacting negatively to the vaccine.

Vaccines are necessary for man because they help to fight and prevent illness. I have been in a case where someone lost their life because he failed to take the vaccine. I don’t know how bad people think vaccines are, but vaccines are very important. I see them as lifesavers. There is this popular saying: prevention is better than cure vaccine is that prevention.

This is my entry on the ongoing content #scifimultiverse topic science of vaccines.

Your post is heartfelt and strongly supportive of the importance of vaccines. You clearly communicated how vaccines protect both children and adults, and your personal experiences—like during your service year—added a real, human touch. It was powerful when you mentioned someone losing their life due to not getting vaccinated; it helped drive home the message that vaccines are truly lifesaving.

We would have lost a lot of babies to diseases without the vaccines, it is saving more lives than we can think.

Yes! Vaccines have saved lots of lives, including children and adults. Most times children are vaccinated even before the disease spreads to help their body fight off the disease.
