Unforgettable year

Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain, and happy weekend! Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to be participating in this week's prompt topic, unforgettable.

The year 2024 is coming to an end. It is a time we reflect on our life and how the year went. The year 2024 has really been an amazing year. I am so grateful for the year. I will not say that the year has been a great one for one, but I am happy for the lessons the years have taught me. I am so grateful for the gift of life.

There are many things that I experience this year; whenever I remember them, I am so emotional. It is an experience I can't forget in a hurry. No matter how I try to heal, it is still hard for me to forget.

It is always our prayer for the year to always be good and free from life challenges, but every year has a mark that it will leave, but this particular one is significant to me. The loss of my dad is something that I can’t forget in a hurry; the trauma and the emotional damage I have to pass through—I never knew that the loss of a loved one could be so painful like this until that fateful morning when I received the news that my dad's death was so painful after the money I spent on the hospital. My dad gave up the ghost. This experience is one I can never forget. In a hurry, I think I will live with the pain for a long time because my dad was my best friend. Losing him has left a big trauma in my life.

I am so grateful for the new friends that 2024 blessed me with. If I must say, my friends are so amazing. They have showed me what it means to have true friends during the period I lost my dad. They were there for me; they helped me both financially, and they stood by me. If there is anything I am so grateful for this year, it is the amazing friend I met this year. It is also one of the friends that help me secure a job.

Another thing I am grateful for is my friend helping me to secure a job at her firm. After spending so many days at home after I graduated from high school, I was able to secure a job this year, 2024. I am so happy that I left my comfort zone. This is the beginning of my career. I am so happy that I have met new people who are so lovely to work with. Although it is not easy for me because the work is stressful, I cherish every experience and every moment in the firm.

I am so grateful for the good and the bad things this year offered me. I am so happy I was able to achieve a milestone this year. I am happy that this year made me stronger. I am so happy that I was able to overcome every challenge that came my way. This year was really a challenging one for me. I pray for a better 2025.
