The must expensive thing i acquired last year

I will not lie. Last year was really expensive; I spent a lot of money on things, and it really affected my finances. I am among the people that advise people never to break the bank to get something, but last year I saw myself going the extra mile, doing things above my limit. In previous years I have missed many opportunities because I was so mindful of the way I spent money. Once I pass my limit, nothing on earth will make me withdraw, and I have lost many opportunities because of that. Last year I had a golden opportunity, and it has always been an opportunity I have been longing for. I made up my mind; at all costs I must get a laptop. Even if it means breaking the bank, I will do that.

For years now my big sister has been encouraging me to learn software programming, and each time she brings up the idea, I wave it away because I don’t have money to register for the class. Not only that, but I also don’t have a laptop to start the program. Last year an opportunity came to me: I came across some who promised to teach me software programming without charging me, but here comes the big issue. Cindy doesn’t have a laptop. I have to ask myself, will I allow this golden opportunity to go just like that just because I am trying to avoid expenses? My friend was very ready to loan me money to purchase the laptop, and later I will refund it. For me, it is a very big debt, and I have to decline because he has done enough for me already.

I didn’t even think twice; I had to break my bank to get a laptop for myself because at that point I needed it. I will not lie; it was not easy gathering this money together. That is when I realised that every token matters. I will not lie; the day I went to purchase this laptop, I felt very bad because it’s a whole lot of money.

I will not lie; the laptop is worth the expenses. I have started the class, and I am doing well. If I must say so, I am glad I didn’t allow this opportunity to pass me by. Who knows when such an opportunity could have come my way? Software programming is what people pay thousands of naira to learn, and I see someone who is ready to teach me without charging me, and you expect me not to grab the opportunity. Currently now I don’t regret getting the laptop because it is serving the purpose for why I purchased it.

It is not something I would love to spend over and over again. Purchasing this laptop drained me, and I am trying to recover from the expenses. If not for my friend that promised to teach me software programming, I couldn’t have purchased a laptop. I wouldn’t have purchased a laptop knowing how expensive it is.
