Some tips on how to save money
Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #indiaunited community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt: how do you save your money?

Saving is very important. I am among the set of people who understand how important it is to save money, but challenges keep coming, making saving very hard. Bills here and there to sort out last year—my finances really suffered because it was from this problem to another. I made a big decision this year, and I promised myself that whatever the case, I must save money.
I can remember when I was a kid, my parents always used me as an example to my siblings because back then I saved money. Most times my parents borrowed money from me, but getting to adulthood life kept happening, making it hard for someone to save. Whenever I see people discussing the amount of money they were able to save, it gladdens my heart.
Here comes the big question: how do you save your money? The majority of us are really struggling when it comes to saving money. And I understand them; below are guidelines that I will be using this year to save up.

Cutting down unnecessary expenses: Over the years this has been my greatest problem because I fail to cut down unnecessary expenses. I purchase things that are not really necessary; at the end of the month I may end up giving them out to people. I take this big decision this year that I will only patronize my needs and not my wants.
My friends introduced me to this 50/20/30 track. I will not lie; it has helped me balance my savings. 50 percent of money goes for my needs, 20 percent goes to my wants, and 30 percent goes to my savings.
Fixed account: for me to be able to save up this year, I opened a piggy vest that will enable me to save up. One amazing thing about fixed accounts Ejike's saving is also getting my interest.
I told myself this year no impulse buying: I will never walk into the mall and end up spending if there is no need. The idea of purchasing things because my friends are is one character I will not display this year.

No more eating out: Last year I spent a lot of money on food because I was buying from eateries. I never had time to prepare meals, you see. This year I will prepare my meals at home and save some money.
I know it is not going to be easy. I am putting myself up to many savings challenges that will help me.
Join me and let's do some savings challenges this year. No matter how small it is save money every day.
You can also do no expending for one week.

It's nice eating out until we realize how much we can save if we had prepared the food ourselves.
I already have a budgeted amount I want to see in my account by the end of the year so I will also ensure to take my savings seriously too.
