PARENTAL GUIDANCE SHOULD NOT BE NEGLECTED.

Growing up, I didn’t really see movies; I only watched movies that were recommended by my parents and cartoons.i grow to become a fun of cartoon and i love cartoon so much. I get to love movies when I grow up to 20 years old. That was when I became a fan of movies and was always happy when I saw more, especially funny movies. There is no child who doesn’t love movies.
Kids love movies; most of them will go as far as standing on the road or piping from people's windows just to watch a movie. I have this my neighbour's kid; back then, when she saw the electricity light, she would do everything that she was doing very fast. You need to see the excitement in their faces whenever they see an electric light. Some who are playing outside will run inside their house immediately to watch movies.
All movies are not good for children to watch. Because children learn things easily if they are not guided, the things they learn from movies will ruin their future.
Did my parents play a role in guiding the movie I watched?
Yes, my parents really did a good job here. Before I and my siblings watch any movie, my mom will have to watch it first to know if it's good for kids to watch. If it's not good, my mom will destroy it immediately so that we will not watch the movie in their absence. My parents were very careful with the movies they bought for us. My parents have this mindset that we kids learn bad things very first, especially when it comes to movies, and they make sure to guide the things we watch.
The day I will never forget in my life was the day my mom sent me on an errand, and I stopped by watching one movie on the road. Immediately, I saw my mom. I didn’t know what to do; I didn’t know if the ground should open and swell me. My mom gave me a beating I will never forget. Since then, I can never stand on the street and watch movies. I only watch the ones that my mom recommends for me and my siblings.
How often did I see movies when I was growing up?
I didn’t see movies that much. We have time for movies, and when it’s that time to wake up, we switch off the television set and go to sleep. I will not say I watch movies much.i see was cartoons with my siblings
If I have kids, will I tell them what the watch is?
Before my kids watch any movies, I have to see them first for me to know what they are watching, because if I fail to guide them, I will fail as a mother. I will guide what the baby watches, and I will lock all my channels from my decoder apart from cartoons, educational programmes, and kids songs.
My thoughts on movies that are rated 13 but are not okay for 13?
It is totally wrong that the producers should be punished for that. I have seen some movies that are rated for children but are not good for a child to watch.
Conclusion: As parents, we should always guide the things our children watch because kids learn fast, and what they learn when growing up, they will find hard to leave. My little advice to parents is that they should guide what their kids watch. Make time for your kids.
