How time flies Just like yesterday, we enter the year 2024. You are already coming to the end of the first quarter. It seems like yesterday we were wishing everyone a happy new year. My old grandmother will always tell me to stop procrastinating. You see, time waits for nobody; indeed, time waits for no man. As humans, as you enter another year, we always set goals for ourselves. Those goals really motivate, inspire, and make us stay focused. Those goals help us stay on track.

Seriously, these past six months have really been full of challenges. There are so many ups and downs. Coming from the country's economy, the economy alone made me prepare for how I set goals early this year.

Seeing these prompts for the week, I have to sit down and ask myself if I have been able to achieve all my set goals because I can remember jotting down some of the things I would like to achieve in the blockchain within the first quarter of the year.

One of those goals is to make sure my hive power gets to one thousand (1,000). It pains me that I was unable to meet my target before the first quarter of the year, although I have really been busy with work and everything. All hope is not a loss, and I still believe that I can still achieve this goal before the year ends since I was unable to achieve it within the first quarter of the year.

Another goal I set to achieve before the first quarter runs out is to open a poultry farm. I have wanted to open this farm since last year, but I was unable to do so. I have to carry the project forward this year. Seriously, our country's economy has really made things very hard for us. You saw this particular economic meltdown before I started searching for a space where I could start up the poultry farm. The amount I paid was so much that I have to construct a place where I will keep the chickens. The expenses are too much, and I don’t have any money with me again to buy chicks and their feed. So I have to plan on opening my poultry farm. I am just hoping that things come down because the chicks are really expensive and there is no go area. I have to keep the project pending, but I know that before the year runs out, my poultry farm will be set up. I hope and pray that I will be among the people selling their chickens this December.

Another goal I set for myself was to get to 65 before the first quarter of the year. I can gladly say that I accomplished this goal. I am so happy that I was able to reach my target. This set goal makes me more consistent in my blog, and it made me put in more effort in my blogging. I can happily say there has been improvement in my blogging. Both my writing skills and engagement.

If I were to rate myself on a scale of ten, I would rate myself a 5/10 for my set goal for the year. I believe that in the days ahead, I will accomplish this goal before the year runs out.
