It was not easy to let go my box of cloth

Good day, amazing people of the hive block chain. Welcome back to my blog.

This is my first time writing in this community. I am so happy that I came across this community. This prompt really draws my attention to the community. Seeing this post, I was like, Aunt, this is for you, because I love giving, but most times I find it hard to let go of some things I may not have used for them, but to give them out is a very big problem to me.

I just remembered my box of clothes I donated to the people in prison. I swear, it was really hard for me to let go of that box of clothes. I have to think before I let go of it.

My mom called me Cindy. Remember, Christmas is here, and it is our family tradition to visit the less fortunate. Make sure you bring something when you come.

Immediately, I went to my room to look for something I would take along that I didn't see. I searched and searched, but I didn't see it. At that point, I need to improvise.

It keeps ringing in my mind that I need to go with something to visit these people, plus it is a season of love. You will not believe I have sleepless nights thinking of what to go with.

And it came to my mind that I have a box of clothes that I have not worn for months now, but letting it go is a problem. So I went to my closet and bought out the box of clothes; most of my favorite clothes are still there.

You need to see my face when I was bringing out those clothes. It was like, should I give them out or not? It was really a hard decision for me to make. But I have to let go of those clothes.

I brought this box out. In my closet, many times before I made up my mind to let go, I opened the box and took a picture of the box of clothes before I let go of it.

My family visited the prison on Sunday. You need to see how happy these people were. At a point, I was so happy that I was able to let those clothes go.

A full box of clothes! That's a lot and I understand if it was so difficult to let go of it but in the end, seeing it just lay there unused and knowing that giving it out would serve a good purpose to the recievers is satisfying enough.

You're not the only one in this boat. Sometimes I find it hard to let things go. I keep coming up with excuses to support my not letting those items go. Kudos to you on your act of service.

It's not good to give out of necessity though but I'm glad to know that you were happy later on that you gave those clothes out to those who needed it more. I totally understand that feeling of struggling to give out something you don't use but don't wish to let it go
