It can just happen natural disaster
Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #scifimultiverse community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompt, natural disaster.
Natural diseases are terrible. It is one thing that man can’t predict; it can occur anytime, in any second or any minute. When a country or individual experiences a natural disaster, it is almost hard for them to come out from the shock. In most countries some are rendered homeless, some are injured or distressed, and some lose their loved ones.
I have witnessed natural disasters. I don’t even pray for my enemy to witness; in most cases it is very hard for the victims to heal from the trauma. I have been a victim of a natural disaster; it was not easy for me to heal. I had to go for several therapy sessions to heal. I witnessed a fire outbreak some years ago; the experience was so terrible because I lost many people, and some were hospitalised for some months. If there is any natural disaster I am afraid of, it is fire and earthquakes. In some developing countries, they face earthquakes, and they have rendered thousands of people homeless; they only survive by the mercy of the government. Whenever I switch on my TV and I see that’s being affected by a natural disaster, I feel for them because I know how painful it is.
I witnessed the fire outbreak in my house. It was during my tender years; back then, I was burning my midnight candle. I slept off while reading without putting out the candle. I woke the moment I heard people shouting outside before I knew what was happening. My room was cloudy with smoke; I couldn’t breathe. Every member of the family ran out of the building. I was still in my room struggling for my life. I was about to pass out when someone ran into the building shouting my name in a low tune. I answered my granny, although our neighbours were trying to stop the fire but to no avail. If I am told that fire is this powerful, I will not believe it. I never knew that fire can destroy.
Well, lo and behold, it was my granny that ran into the room to save me before the fire service could come. My dad's house had burnt to ashes, and I also lost my granny. She was rushed to the hospital after she saved me, but she didn’t make it.
When I regain consciousness, I ask my younger sister sitting near me about our granny, and she informs me that Granny died while saving me. Immediately tears start rolling down my eyes; I was destabilised. Granny let down her life for me to live. My family was rendered homeless because of my mistake.
My siblings told me that my dad keeps screaming because every single thing in that house burnt to ashes. Many came to console us about our loss.
Even till now I can’t forgive myself, and most times it traumatises me, knowing full well that I am the cause of the natural disaster that happens in my home. This is one guilt I have to carry all the days of my life.
The government should create an avenue where people will be educated on the basics of how to handle a fire explosion before the arrival of fire services.
Have you ever been a victim of a fire outbreak just like me? Were you traumatised? How did you come out of that state?
This is my response to the weekly prompts on the #scifimultiverse topic of natural disaster.

Natural disasters are bad to the point I also won't like it that my enemy experiences such.
Any form of natural disaster is always deadly, this experience is honestly a hard one, so sorry for the lost of your grandma and thank GOD for your life....
Nothing is good in a natural disaster, may evil not befall us🙏
Sorry for the loss of your grandmother.
Losing your grandmother in such a heroic and heartbreaking way is something no one should ever have to go through. Thank God for your life. May her soul rest in peace, and may you continue to find healing and strength.
What an emotional and real story it was. The trauma you faced, especially the pain of losing your granny, cannot be described in words.
