Grandparents are wise
Good day and happy weekend, amazing people of Hive Block Chain! Welcome back to my blog.
I am so happy to celebrate our grandparents, who have really been amazing. Our grandparents are a precious gift to us; indeed, it is an honour for me to celebrate hem. I went out today to celebrate my grandparents.
It feels so cool to write about my grandparents. It is the prayer of everyone to become grandparents one day. The experience is really amazing. Most times, I will tell my grandparents that I can’t wait to be like them so that I will be enjoying all the good things they are doing.
I lived with my grandfather for about four years before he passed out. It was an amazing experience. If I may say, I am my grandfather's favourite grandchild. When he was ageing, he was unable to do chores by himself, and my grandfather is the last person who will accept to live in the village. He is so addicted to the village that I have not seen anything that will make him live in that village.
When I got admission to the university, he had to come stay with us in the city because none of my siblings were ready to stay in the village, and at his age, he needed assistance. Having him around was really amazing. We learnt a lot of things from him, and he added value to our lives. If there are certain things we will not do because we have an elder in the house,.
My grandfather is always there to correct us if we do anything wrong. My people will always say that an elder will not stay in the house and a goat will be put to birth, meaning an elder will not be in the house if things go wrong. It is very nice to have an elder in the house because they are full of knowledge and advice.
I can remember when my dad was having issues with my mom; if not for my grandfather, my parents could have gone there in separate ways. Any family without any elders is really missing out. Elders are wise and know how to handle any issue raised by them.
I cherish every moment I spent with my grandfather; his love and care are too much. My grandfather staying with us was value for value, if I may say so. My grandfather is a preacher of love. I learnt a lot of things from him, and most of the things he taught me keep me where I am today. It is really nice to have any elders in the family; they are wiser and have had more experience than us.
I am so glad to be writing about my grandfather today. He has been an amazing grandfather to me and my siblings. I wish you were here to read this little piece of writing from your granddaughter. I celebrate your grandfather. You are a mentor and a teacher.
