Good body shape as a result of dieting and exercising.
Good day, amazing people of the hive block chain. Welcome back to my blog. I am so delighted to be participating in this week's prompt #hivelearners community. Topic: dieting or exercise.
Maintaining our body shape is something that every human should try their best to do. Having a good body shape is very nice. As humans, we need to stay on a diet and also exercise our bodies. These two things are very important to us. Exercise is important because it helps to burn down excess fat in the system. There are two major ways of maintaining or staying in good shape: dieting and exercise. If you know the one that will work best for you, You go for that one. Most people prefer going for exercise because the exercise helps them build up their desired body shape.
Most times, we think that the only people who should exercise themselves are the ones who are active. Exercise helps us to stay healthy. I can remember me asking my friends to follow me for exercise. They will always decline the reason because they will always ask me why they are doing exercise since they are plus size. There are people who engage in both diet and exercise, but I go for diet because I feel okay watching the things I consume.
What I do.
For me, the best way to stay in shape is by controlling what I consume. 95% of the people who are fat today gain weight by what they eat. I have this friend who always tells me if I see her picture when she was in the university, I will be so shocked that she was so slim. I didn’t believe it until I visited their family house and the mom showed me pictures of my friend when she was in the university. She turned to plus size because she started eating anything she saw.
With diet alone, you can achieve the body size you want because you monitor the things you consume. One thing about being on a diet is that you will limit your intake of junk food and processed food. because it will surely increase your body size. I prefer going on a diet because of my health issues.
For someone like me who goes for a diet, I have a therapist who helps me with my diet. She tells me the things I eat and the measures I take. Being on a diet is not always easy. If you are someone who loves eating junk food, you will have to up your diet. Since I started a diet, I have had to sacrifice my favourite meals so that I will not be overweight. If there is one thing I am afraid of: becoming a plus size, I don’t want to be like my grandma, who was a plus size. I avoid anything that contains fat.
Is it something that should be combined?
If you can combine the two together, that will be amazing. Exercise is important, as is dieting; just do the one that best suits you.
I don’t exercise due to my health condition, which is why I chose dieting.

It's good you know what works for you and stick with it, there are light exercises though.
Yes i know but i prefer dieting
This is amazing but I don’t think I can focus on diet alone. I prefer going to the gym to exercise than watching the things I consume. I’m not saying I don’t watch what I eat or I eat in excess but if I can finish one cup of rice, then I’m eat it than eat half cup cause of diet

I agree with you that doing one of it alone won't be good enough like when we combine both dieting and exercising in helping us to get the desired shape.

Its good to watch, what one eats because aside from adding weight, you can develop health issue from what you are assuming yet you are slim

Indeed one need to consider his or her health situation before engaging in any activity in other to avoid further complications.
It's nice to read from you. As much as I am in line with everything you've written and I respect the fact that diet is what works for you, there is one thing I don't really agree with.
There is an element of family trait that might make one fat even though they do watch what they eat. The only way those people can get a better look is by exercise. No matter how strong the trait of being fat one has, exercise would be the answer.
I said 95% not 100% sir everyone do things that best suits them
