Every time count
Good day, amazing people of the Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #scifimultiverse community. I am so delighted to participate in this week's prompts time.
Time, they say, waits for no man. That is why you have to utilise every second, every minute, and every hour because once it is gone, you can’t get it back. There is nothing like, Let me turn the hands of the clock back. This is why I try my best to manage my time every day. The holy book made us understand how important time is. Time plays a significant role in our lifetime—time to be born and time to die. We know I love it when people value their time and work with time. It surprises me that we know full well how important time is to humans, and you choose to keep procrastinating things. While writing this post, I feel so bad because I am a victim of this act.
I am a procrastinator and am really dealing with myself. Most times I will be in my comfort zone doing nothing, wasting time on things that are not necessary, and I will keep procrastinating important things. My mom will always tell me, Cindy Procrastination is your biggest disease when it comes to time. I am not intentional about it, but when the time passes by and I do not utilise it properly, I am always sad. I have missed so many deals because of the world. I will say of a truth that procrastination is indeed a disease, and if you don’t fight it, it will ruin your life because you will be wasting your time watching unnecessary things online or doing things that don’t matter.
By the time I come to my senses, I will realise that I have wasted 5 hours of my time doing nothing, and just then I will be rushing to achieve those things that I wasted my time doing nothing serious on. I love people that value any seconds of their time, knowing fully well that every wasted second can’t come back.
Before now I used to have this mindset that 24 hours is too short for us and always wish we had 48 hours. I have come to realise that 24 hours is enough time for someone to utilise whatever they have to achieve. I think people who always have this mindset that 24 hours is too short are my fellow procrastinators. I will always complain at home that time is so short, but then I see how my elder sister, who does two jobs, utilises her time, and still she has time to hang out with friends and do other things.
I get to understand that I lack the ability to plan myself because procrastination has taken a better part of me. My fellow procrastinators will always say that 24 hours is not enough, but other people are utilising the 24 hours. Currently I am working on myself because procrastination has shown me pepper. Firstly, I need to learn how to manage my time. I get to realise that indeed there is time for everything. Presently now I don’t engage in things that kill my time; I am so productive.
I get to find out the main result: why I procrastinate most of the time is because of social media. I have to create time for everything and not waste my whole day on things that are not relevant.
I get to realise that time is money, and I guard my time jealously because every time counts. Procrastination is one thing that you should fight because it is a deadly disease.
This is my entry on the weekly prompts #scifimultiverse topic time.

You have a wonderful post here, Cindy..
The key to success is to use every moment constructively, without wasting time or being lazy.
Procrastination is one thing a lot of us have to deal with, some are dealing with perfectly while for some ot is dealing with us very well lol 😂.
Great writing! Time is fleeting, focus on your work.
Social media has grown to become a part of our likes in todays world. However, it’s important to know how to use it and focus on doing important stuff instead of just scrolling all day long.
