easy access have done us more harm than good
Good day, amazing people of the Hive blockchain! Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community. I am so delighted to be participating in this prompt. Is easy access a blessing?
It is very easy for this generation to access knowledge in their comfort zone. They don’t need to stress or struggle just like our predecessors going to libraries in search of knowledge. Civilization has made everything easy for the generation. The introduction of technology made knowledge very easy for man. With your phone and the internet, you can source whatever information or knowledge you want to acquire online. I am so blessed to be part of this generation. Things are very easy; we really live a stress-free lifestyle when it comes to the search for knowledge. Things had been so easy that by the use of AI, you will be able to generate any information you.
You don’t have to suffer yourself in search of knowledge. Whatever knowledge you want, you can get it from your phone. Most of us have not visited the library for one reason: technology has made life so easy for us. Having access to easy knowledge has really made life so easy for me. From the comfort of my home, I can run a program with my phone and acquire knowledge just from the comfort of my home.
In my own opinion, our predecessors are more knowledgeable than us. During those days, our forefathers went in search of knowledge; they made research upon research; they read as if their lives depended on it. One amazing thing about them is that whatever information they come across, they see that information as very important. They went in search of knowledge. It was during our forefathers time that education had its worth because they believed in research. I remember whenever my grandfather is reading he read in between lines there was one day i was write an assignment to my great surprise as older as he is he was able to recall what he have read years ago. The answer that my granny was given is the same answer I got from the internet.
If I have my way, I will like to go back to those days that people fought to get knowledge. We may be saying that technology has really made information very easy for us. As well as it has made things easy for us, it is also a distraction to us. For someone like me, I can be online for more than four hours; I will not use that time to learn online; instead, I will be watching content online. Most of us don’t utilize this easy learning very well.
On several occasions my mom will tell me that technology has really done us more harm than good. People of my generation no longer believe in themselves; gradually people will stop seeking knowledge since AI can help them. All they need to do is type in the details they want an AI to help them with. Even people who introduce this technology that we are using today have to research and research to gather information that helps them come up with these ideas.
The life you live in is phrased by phrase; each generation has its own knowledge. For me, I will not say that my generation is the most knowledgeable generation to compare with our predecessors. Knowledge is power.

Ideally they are not supposed to be more knowledgeable than us but they were unfortunately because they were so passion about knowledge. These days we have everything but we are lazy and uninterested in knowledge

I guess it all comes down to how we utilise the knowledge and tools at our fingertips in this present generation. In the olding days knowledge was scarce and people appreciated more but now that it is more available the value of acquiring knowledge has depreciated. It is quite funny, I mean are we not suppose to appreciate it more now that it is more available but then humans always have a way of moving in reverse and thinking we are progressing.
