Competition with my brother.

I am so proud of myself that I can now ride my bicycle like a pro. I don’t need anyone to direct or train me anymore.

My brother, who trained me on how to ride a bicycle, put up a challenge between the both of us. There are rewards to be given. The reward is 10 thousand naria, which should be about 10 dollars. I accepted the challenge without thinking twice. I seriously need that money to buy a textbook. I have this confidence in myself that I will beat my brother in this competition. I love challenges more, especially when they are bicycle challenges. I can never back off of them.

Today happens to be a free day in my area; everybody is at home. Today happens to be the deal day for our competition. I was very prepared, and so is my brother. It is really a beautiful moment and a day I will never forget. Our friends came to cheer us up. My brother friend bet that I would never win my brother in the ride. My friend believed in me and that I could do it. Judges were picked by our friends. The most interesting part was that my dad was supporting me; he told me he believed in me.

The set time came, and when the whistle was blown, the race began. Immediately after we started the race, my elder brother started showing off. He was trying to get me scared. He never knew that I was fully prepared for this competition. At a point, I was so scared because the gap between us was so big. My friend was cheering me on, saying that I could do it. He believed in me, even though I was behind. I summoned courage and confidence, paired harder, and covered up

Before I knew it, I gave my brother a long distance. He was struggling to meet up with me, and I didn’t give him a chance to do so. The way my friends were cheering me up really gave me joy, and I didn't want to disappoint them or my dad.

I was really happy that I beat my brother in this race. You need to see how happy my dad was.

Soon I will be hanging out with my friends who cheered me up at the competition, which is my little way of saying thank you.
