CITIZENS ARE LIVING IN FEAR THE COUNTRY IS NOT SAFE.

It is the wish of every citizen for their country to be safe for them to live in. There is nothing like staying in a country that is safe. Safety is very important; it is a major factor every country should provide.

Coming down to the topic, how safe is my country? My country is really insecure about the citizen crisis here and there, and people are living in fear every day. Our leaders don’t even care about our safety; they have all the uniform men protecting them and their households. They don't care about the safety of the citizens. The lives of the citizens mean nothing to them.

The shocking thing about my country is that everyone has their own security, because if we want the government to provide one for us, we will all die before the help even comes to us. Nowhere is safe in my country. Whenever we are walking or travelling, we make use of self-defence.

There is no week that will pass that you will not hear about the loss of life if there is something I am afraid of doing right now: travelling. Someone like me who loves travelling is now afraid of travelling because of insecurity.

Due to insecurity, many citizens who have money have moved the country to a more secure country.

It is only the government that will look into this insecurity. I am making an appeal to the government to help us. The insecurity is really bad. We are no longer safe in our country. We can’t drink water or keep our cups.

Last month, I lost a very dear friend of mine due to insecurity on her walk to her hometown for her traditional wedding. Some men attacked them, and all the passengers in the bus lost their lives. Still, the same month, a POS attendant was shut down by an unknown man. The insecurity is really going out of hand, and we need our government to help us.

Every citizen is living in fear. Such a day comes with its own story. If they didn’t kill the will kidnapper in my hometown, people are running for their dear lives, especially the farmers who will go to the farm, and they are being killed by an unknown man. My hometown is on the run.

i don't like it here the level of insecurity is something else i can't imagine living in fear in a country i was born.

if i have my ways i will leave the country and to a country that value the life of the citizens.

I believe that everything has solutions.

My country is a country that is blessed by God. We are blessed with a lot of things that will make life easy for us. Our government should please look into this insecurity because it is really going out of hand.

Provide employment to the citizens. Most of the people who commit these crimes are not happy with what they are doing but just want to survive.

Empower the citizens.

End bad government: show love and care to the citizens; always remember that the security of the citizens is important; and do not be self-centred.

Provide security for the citizens.

Conclusion

If the problem of insecurity is solved, no citizens will live in fear together, and our country will be good if only the government will look into the insecurity.

Because of the insecurity in my country, I am learning some self-defence skills that are very important. I know I will need them one day to defend myself.
