Choose wisely when selecting friends

Good day, amazing people of the hive block. Welcome back to my blog. I am glad to have you guys back.

People who you call your friends really matter because those friends can either build or destroy you. There is a need to always choose wisely when it comes to people you can be friends with.

Everyone must not be your friend. Pick the one who will add value to your life. Whoever you call should merit it, your friend should be able to support you. He or she should be with you both in good and difficult times. I don’t make friends because others are making friends; I take my time choosing my friends. Friends who I connect with who will help me build up and who share the same goal as me.

The importance of having good friends can’t be overemphasized. I have met friends who are really amazing. They have really been supportive from day one. These friends can go the extra mile to do anything for me. They have really sacrificed a lot to make sure we build our friendship.

For me, when I choose my friends, there are things I look out for. My taste may not be the same as yours, but there are some qualities and values I look out for. If you don’t have them, I can’t consider you a friend.

Values or qualities I seek in a friend.

honest: of course nobody is perfect, but always be transparent with me. Don’t be a friend who washes me in the front but in my back. You are spoiling my personality. I am not perfect; if I am wrong, you call my action and correct me

supportive: This is something I check out for you. Be a supportive friend, not the other way around. We most certainly support each other's dreams and visions.

loyal : you see this particular one call loyal is very important to me as a friend you need to be loyal one’s you are loyal to me i will trust you one’s a friend is loyal he or she can never betray you because he or she have your best interest. A loyal friend is never ready to lay down their life for their friend. A loyal friend can never be envious of his or her success; they will always be there to support and cheer them up.

For me, these are the values I look out for before calling someone my friend. If you have these values, I will cherish and appreciate you.
