A good apartment matters

I swear looking for an apartment is one of the most difficult things ever; it can be frustrating and stressful at the same time. I am speaking out of experience; house hunting is capable of draining your energy, more especially when you meet the wrong agent. The agent alone will frustrate you and also eat your money without finding any comfortable house for you. If you meet an agent that is after their pocket, they will frustrate the living life out of you, and you are left with no choice because you are in need of an apartment.

I remember when I was hunting for an apartment. I hunted for an apartment for 3 months. This agent will collect money from me after work, and I will go for house hunting with this agent. I have already described to them the type of place I need. My apartment needs to be somewhere accessible to the road, but each time they call me, they will carry me to one local place. The funny thing is they keep transferring me from one agent to another, and I keep paying them. Believe me, house hunting is not easy, and it can be frustrating. That doesn’t mean you should be in a hurry to pay for an apartment. There are things you should look out for: if there is electricity, water, and lastly, if the road is accessible.

Of course searching for an apartment in my country can be frustrating and stressful, but that doesn’t mean because I am looking for shelter over my head I should not look out for the necessary things every apartment should have. The basic need of every apartment is light and water. I can’t pay for a house without light and water. These two things are very necessary and important to me. I can’t pay for an apartment and be suffering because there is no water and light. I can’t use my money and purchase discomfort for myself, God forbid.

There is one mistake I will never make: looking for an apartment during the dry season, of course. In my country, the dry season always means they are constructing the road for us. I will hunt for a house during the rainy season for me to know what the area faces during the rainy season. I need to be sure that during the rainy season I can still move freely and without fear of floods destroying my properties.

Another thing I look out for is if the place is accessible. I love wherever I am living to be across the road from the main road; any house that is not close to the main road is a no-no for me. There is nothing like living in a place where, if there is an emergency, people can easily locate your house for help and not the one they will have to go inside or park their car on the road and then track to your apartment to help me. My apartment must be close to the main road.

Finally, if I should be a house owner, all I want is a tenant that will give me peace of mind. I need responsible tenant people that will pay their bills and not expect me to remind them to pay their bills and rent, and lastly, a tenant with fear of God.

Someone who is hunting for a house, don’t be in a rush; take your time and find a good apartment to live in. Your home should give you comfort, not discomfort. Shine your eye whenever you are hunting for an apartment.
